SUPER GOURG ... But Subtle!!

4 stars out of a maximum of 5

This really is a secret sauce to that paradox of I want my skin to look nicer but I really don't want people to know why my skin looks nicer. It goes onto the skin with the pigment but once patted and absorbed into the skin it sets very sheerly and discreet with a light blurring effect and subtle glow to the skin which makes picking the shade so much easier and flexible depending on what you are going for. If you want makeup, CC serum/cream this, is not the one for you this is a serum that lightly and cosmetically improves the skin with a nice hydrating formula to support the natural plumpness and health of the skin. If it's too subtle but you like the finish and prefer light coverage mix a drop of foundation with this to create that perfect hybrid.

Average

I really wanted this to be amazing, but it isn’t. It’s quite watery and so you need to use more of the product compared with other CC serums. I hoped to be able to use it on its own, as I do other with CC serum brands, but it’s not great alone as it is a translucent shimmer, so doesn’t really work. I wouldn’t buy it again - for that price point, there’s defiantly better out there.

Really like it

I wanted to hate it so I would not have to buy it again, but I love it!. I bought shade 3 - Apricot Glow, It covers all the small imperfections and gives a healthy glow to my skin. It's a little bit oilier for my skin so I use it with powder on top. Wish to have a version for oily skin.

Sunny flash forever and ever and ever

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

On my 3rd bottle of sunny flash now and honestly can't live without this product. Perfect for a lazy day at home after SPF to look alive and glowy without a full face of makeup. Also works perfectly well layered under makeup to just give a glow. The colour looks dark on dispensing but blends beautifully with a subtle rose scent.

Good but expensive

I bought Immaculate light, but I also had Rose Elixir and Sunny Flash. I only kept the white one, as I have redness on my skin and it does a good job toning it down. Rose Elixir is way too pink and can’t be worn on its own for a fresh look, as you will look like Pinko the pink panther. Sunny Flash is very warm and bronzy, maybe a good choice for darker skin tones and for warming up foundations for people with warmer skin tones in general.

Nearly perfect!

Just a note before I start my review, I am in my 30s, have very sensitive/dry eczema skin and I don't wear a lot of makeup layers on my face as I have always found makeup tends to make most of my face look worse, it feels too heavy and irritated with too much, and it starts to crack and cake if I don't just use my mineral powder lightly and eye make up to finish off my look with. I purchased the cc serum in sunny flash and apricot glow as I thought if one was too light or too dark I could still make them work for me, I've never tried them before and I actually really like them. The sunny flash gives a good light tanned look on my very red/pale face which I put straight on my face then add my finishing touches of eye makeup etc after, the only thing I do find is that: 1- it does dry very very fast so I have to work quickly, but I use my fingers as I prefer the application this way. 2- because I do have drier skin I have to avoid putting it under my eyes too much and around my nose too much as it can make these areas on me look worse. I have tried a primer underneath and that for me does not help, I find this product applies best over my moisturizer only. 3- I am surprised that it didn't irritate my skin.. at all! Which was great, and I wore it under my general light makeup all day at work and it still looked fab when i got home later in the day. 4- I only use 2 pumps and that does my whole face! -it feels light on the skin and just adds that sunkissed glow. The apricot glow is a lot lighter but I have used this either mixing it with sunny flash if I want to not look as bronzed, or I use it more around my nose and under my eyes because it's lighter it doesn't show up the dry areas there as sunny flash does. Overall both are nice, I would probably only purchase sunny flash again as it's my most used, and I have tried it as just a bronzer/contour on my cheeks instead of an all over cover also which works for me, however as this product is the most expensive make-up I have ever purchased I'm glad I didn't need to use much to cover my face so it should last me a fairly long time, so evens out the cost overall. Would recommend.
