Caudalie’s Beauty Elixir is inspired by the centuries old 'elixir of youth' used by Queen Isabelle of Hungary. This facial spray acts like a vitamin shot, bringing an instant burst of radiance to the complexion and infusing it with extracts of grape, rosemary, bitter orange, rose, myrrh and peppermint. I use this to dampen my face before hyaluronic acid. I love the smell and the bottle is very luxurious but I’m unsure if it actually does anything! Might be nice to refresh your makeup throughout the day!

Best facial spray I have tried so far
This became a summer essential for me. On hot days, it has this incredibly soothing cooling effect. And it smells amazing. I am unsure to what extent it improved my skin exactly, as I used it alongside other products - the main benefits for me were that it FELT so good - it was so refreshing and cooling during heatwaves and didn't break me out, leave any residue, or make me look greasy. The mist itself is also nice and fine and not dropletty like some other sprays

Awful for sensitive skin
I have dry, fairly sensitive and reactive skin. All this mist did was irritate and redden my skin, along with stinging the corners of my eyes. I don’t know if it was the high fragrance content, the alcohol, the peppermint, or the combination, but I didn’t get any benefit whatsoever. I’d highly recommend trying the smaller size if you’re going to try this, or trying the Caudalie grape water instead. The only positive thing I can say is that the packaging is heavy and feels expensive, along with spraying a very fine mist.
