Best cleansing oil so far…
I have tried cleansing oil from Medik8, a wee bit harsh for my sensitive skin, and the classic Japanese DHC deep cleansing oil, which was great, but this cleansing oil from Caudalie is my big fat favourite. It’s so soft and silky. The makeup and dirt from the day slides off without effort, leaving my cheeks pink and happy. It’s a pleasure to use.

I use this as a first cleanse and though my skin loves it, it doesn't fully get rid of stubborn waterproof mascara and eyeliner

This is a great gentle cleanser. I tend to use to remove makeup and London grime at the end of the day. It has a gentle scent and once emulsified I use to massage my skin gently. It washes off easily and leaves my skin feeling lovely and soft. Great price point great product I’ve now swapped to using it.

This is a lovely oil, but I feel like you have to use a lot of it and always require a second wash with a stronger face cleanser, so I wouldn’t recommend it if you like to wear a lot of make up or waterproof products!

Fine for first step but doesn't take it all off
Will start with the benefits of this: doesn't sting or irritate, gentle, removes first layer of makeup, reasonable price point, smells natural (like almonds) With that being said, it doesn't remove it all, and I would 100% go in with another cleanser afterwards. Not necessarily a problem, as plenty of us are double cleansing anyway, but I've definitely had other makeup removers that have done a better job than this. Particularly with waterproof mascara, it doesn't seem to be able to get it all. I will finish the bottle as its fine, but I don't think I would repurchase this.
