Night cream but not as you may know it — no heavy, skin-suffocating texture here — this lightweight, oil-free formula features three types of ceramides, hydrating hyaluronic acid and calming niacinamide to restore your skin as you sleep.
As with all CeraVe superheroes, at the core of this rich (but quick to absorb) formula is a cocktail of three essential ceramides (lipids that are essentially the ‘glue’ of your skin barrier). Flooding your skin with these ceramides helps to keep that skin barrier in tip-top health, helping to maintain moisture levels and keep irritation, sensitivity and eczema at bay. CeraVe’s unique ‘MVE Technology’ means you get even more from these ceramides; it ensures they’re gradually released over time to ensure long-lasting nourishment and hydration. I’ve only used it a few times and I do find it quite nice alongside my other skincare, but on its own I think it would be lacking. It’s a little more on the greasy side when first putting it in but it does dry. Face is soft in the morning. Nothing special but it does the job.

My skin was reacting quite badly to some retinol products I was using (dry, flaky, tiny red bumps), I stripped my skincare routine right back to washing with water and using this to moisturise. Within a coupe of days my skin has gone back to it’s former glory and I won’t go anywhere without this now. It says PM but I use it morning and night. It’s not a thick night cream, it’s light but hugely moisturising.

Good for the price
I found this moisturiser to be pretty average. It does the job, however I have to use 2-3 pumps to get a enough product for my skin to feel sufficiently ‘moist’. Nothing against it, however I’ve used better moisturisers for my dry skin.
