Keeping even oily skin types shine-free, this matte but never flat foundation has an ultra-fine powder formula that sits seamlessly on your skin. The complexion-enhancing pan is laced with antioxidant-rich gooseberry extract to support and protect your skin as it perfects your tone. wanted to like it
Really wanted to like it, but it's more powder that foundation (not enough coverage) and it's quite drying on the skin. It might be better for someone with oily skin as setting powder.

This powder is smooth and creamy, I really wanted to love this but unfortunately, I developed an allergic reaction to it. But the customer service from cult beauty was very understanding and handled the situation very well!

Not for me
I wanted to like this because it cost so much but it brought me out in little spots in several areas. There are pore blocking ingredients (primary ingredient talc) in it so I shouldn't be surprised but I'd hoped it would suit. The shades are forgiving so it's not a problem getting it right when blind buying.

Beautifully even on dry skin!
I have incredibly dry skin, so powders have to be very special for me to actually want to use them. Enter: Chantecaille. This powder has the loveliest finish, seriously. It melts in naturally throughout the day, and I didn't notice clinging to dry patches at all (genuinely shocked). It comes with a sponge, but I use the bareMinerals Kabuki to buff it in and it's stunning. I love that if I need to, it can come with me and I don't have to worry about toting around a liquid foundation. Their future skin foundation is phenomenal, but this is such a great alternative for on-the-go or a slightly more high-coverage day.

I usually don't write reviews, but here I decided to be the first because there is really a very high-quality product, the case is expensive but it's worth it, powder with high coverage, but lies naturally soft, a very pleasant feeling, I don't know how to describe it, it holds makeup and it not visible on the skin
