Not worth the hype
I’ve been wanting to try this foundation for ages so was really disappointed when it wasn’t as amazing as I had thought. I’ve tried with many different primers and I still find that it splits when I’m applying it. When it finally sits okay, it dries out my skin and emphasises dry or problem areas. If you’re buying this to replace double wear.. don’t bother.

Not as amazing as i hoped
Bought this as a hope that it would top my Estée Lauder Double wear. This foundation is thicker than the double wear and has even more coverage. I feel like the CT foundation emphasizes my dry spots more and has less of a natural finish. But I do like to use this when my skin is more oily as it stays in place through everything and anything!

New Fave
Honestly, I’ve been wanting to try this. I usually wear HudaBeauty Tres Leches or Too Faced Sand and after getting Charlotte Tilbury, it’s definitely a new favourite of mine and it’s easy applied - a little really does go a long way and first time I wore it, I used setting spray and it didn’t move and the second time I wanted to try how it was without the spray and it transferred on my face mask which I wasn’t too happy about but luckily it was still on my face. I love the overall matte look after too and the shade was perfect. But I have tried different applications and my fave so far is a brush application with a beauty blender blending it after so it’s not cakey or patchy and the coverage for this foundation was really good but I’ve not had much trouble with it but just work with it quick on on your face.

So thick it feels terrible
I have never come across a foundation this thick. You can feel it on the skin all the time, and it makes one look a bit like a ghost no matter how close the match to your skin colour. It is just really uncomfortable to wear and a real ordeal to put one. Will not be re-buying and may well give this to someone as I can't use it.

I’ve struggled to find a cruelty free foundation that I love as much nars sheer glow until I’ve tried this. It feels expensive, it blends very easily and lasts all day, no breaking up or anything even when wearing a covid mask for travel etc. I have the shade 2 neutral and I think it’s a good match. I don’t usually go for a full coverage foundation but this looks natural and not cakey at all. The only downside is I don’t like a matte finish but I use glossier future dew underneath and apply with a beauty blender to get the finish I like. Also I think the foundation sits well in my wrinkles.

Awful alternative to Magic Foundation no 5
I ordered this in desperation, having gone onto Charlotte Tilbury's website to try and match a foundation for my skin tone as a substitute for Magic Foundation no 5 which has been unavailable everywhere for so long! This was the recommendation on CT's website and I ordered it through Cult Beauty. This foundation is awful and reminds me of my youth when I would cake it on! And in spite of using a photo upload as part of the matching process, the suggested colour 4.5 I ordered is too pale as well as too thick. It highlights every line and wrinkle rather than giving me a "flawless finish" and I always use a foundation brush to apply it better. This is probably fine for young skin upto late 20s, but not for older skin.
