Disappointing.
I have a lot of Charlotte’s makeup and I do love it, but sadly, not this and I really wanted to. I’ve got brown eyes and always gravitate towards this colour story, so was quite excited. I used a primer, as I always do. The mattes, although they blended quite well, seemed very dusty and quite drying, accentuating creases on my eyelids that I never knew existed. When I used one of the shimmers ( the middle one) with my finger, it literally wouldn’t adhere whatsoever to the matte shadow and I’m used to being able to apply a pop of shimmer on top of any shadow I own, so this was a bit of a surprise.The matte shadow, bottom left, hardly showed on my eyelids too and seemed to disappear and I’m fair. I have the Pillow talk, 9-pan palette from Christmas which seems like a totally different formula. Very sad.
