I’m sorry I slept on this shadow for so long. It got it in Oyster Pearl and it’s GORGEOUS and the perfect one and done. It stayed on all day, despite being a cream shadow (I only applied a base shadow underneath with no primer). This is one of those shadows that are sophisticated enough to wear to work, but with enough oomph you could also wear it in the evenings. Overall, I’m so impressed and wish I bought it when it first came out.

Don’t get me wrong, I still love this cream shadow. It’s great applied with finger or brush. But like another recent reviewer, to me it doesn’t seem to have the depth of colours in it anymore (Oyster Pearl). It used to shimmer with multi shades when spread out on the back of your hand, but it doesn’t now. It’s still lovely to use as an everyday swipe it on shadow and it doesn’t crease etc like many cream shadows. It’s just lost a little of its depth. I would probably rebuy (this is my second of Oyster Pearl and 5th in total of Eyes to Mesmerise).

Not sure if I’m misremembering it or the formula has changed, but this turned out to be a much more boring and basic a brown shimmer than I expected. I swear the Pearl aspect used to be really multifaceted and dimensional with hints of pink and blue to the shift giving a sheen, but it really doesn’t feel any more special than a cheap bronze shimmer shadow now. The texture is nice and it stays on well.
