Love these cleansers
My skin looks and feels so much healthier since using these, they are a bit pricey though. I don't get spots anymore. I've been using these for just over a year and am very happy with my skin now!

Nice duo
I bought these as a treat and they’re really nice to apply. I wouldn’t buy again though because I think you can get cleansers cheaper that so the same

Great duo
Love this two step system, it leaves my skin feeling super clean and removes all makeup. Comes with a Muslin cloth too.

Nice Cleanser but pricey
Nice Cleanser set feels lovely to apply, gets rid of makeup residue without stripping my skin. Taken a star off because its quite pricey for a Cleanser

Real power couple!
I've now gone through 3 or 4 of these sets, I absolutely love them! The citrusy gel cleanser melts away makeup, and I like to remove it using a hot cloth to open my pores ready for the next step. The charcoal one doesn't really foam, and although the instructions say to massage into wet face until it turns white, but this is rather difficult to do with your eyes closed! I can definitely feel the second cleanser working though, it's a tingling feeling, a little like when you use an acid but much more gentle. It really does 'deep clean' your skin, I use this about once a week (although you can use it everyday) and can see and feel a real difference afterwards, skin is tighter, brighter, and pores are practically invisible. Lovely product and makes a nice gift!

Lovely for dry skin
I really enjoy these cleaners, they seem to calm my skin down. They even helped when I had a break out from switching up my cleansing routine, so I will stick to them from now on as I find myself always coming back to them. They are great value for money too as you don’t need to buy a second step cleaner. Love the dreamy texture too!

Easy introduction to double cleansing
This was one of the very first products I ever bought from Cult Beauty and I'm now on my third set! I'm yet to find a more perfect duo, it easily removes every trace of makeup and impurities with the fresh lemony scented cleansing balm, then detoxifies and gently exfoliates with the mud/charcoal 2nd cleansing step. I find it leaves my skin feeling fresh, baby soft, and with the kind of silkiness I'd expect from a spa facial. I generally use either a muslin cloth (laying it on the skin after soaking in hot water prior to the second step to draw out more impurities!) or a konjac facial sponge to remove this gently rather than splashing my face to rinse - maybe I'm an oddity but I prefer wiping away cleansers to soaking my face, and usually my clothes, my favourite method is the konjac sponge as it glides over my facial piercings without snagging! As a treat I follow this up with a clay mask a couple of times a week, the CT Goddess Clay Mask is perfect afterwards!

Nice But For The Scent
Three stars because whist it is a good set, I cannot understand why cosmetic companies persist in adding fragrance to skincare products. Scent is unnecessary, can cause irritation to both the skin as well as those of us with chemical sensitivities and respiratory allergies. I really loved this at first, and I have to say my dehydrated skin really responded well to the two steps. Most products leave my skin feeling great initially, but soon after I can feel the dryness. Not here. My skin still felt hydrated hours later. Problem was I was noticing my eyes starting to itch and water. I realised that it had been happening since starting the regiment. I stopped and the allergic reaction stopped as well. If I choose to buy a scent, that is my choice, but I am tired of finding great products ruined by unnecessary and potentially harmful chemical additives. Please stop! I will not be able to use this again.

Very effective cleanser and smells lovely
I have just a few favourite cleansers and this is one of them. The yellow cleanser has a gorgeous smooth texture and spreads easily on your face. It smells really fresh and removes every scrap of my makeup with one application. I’d guess it’s slightly oily but doesn’t feel it. Not sure what the charcoal step does, but after using them both, my slightly dry skin feels really moisturised and very clean.

Nice but...
The yellow one is a bit oily and removes makeup. It is not very easy to remove waterproof makeup. The black one removes the oily feeling and leave your skin clean and smooth. I don't think it's worth the price though, it's not doing anything special.
