Hydrating

I have the shade 'Happipeach' which is a really pretty summery peach shade ( it's not as dark as it looks in the swatches above.) This gives a nice amount of colour to the lips without feeling like you're wearing a full-coverage lipstick. It also left my lips feeling hydrated with a nice shine to them. If you're looking for a very sheer balm this formula would be too rich for you and if you're looking for a lipstick then the colour pay-off/ staying power wouldn't be enough. However, if you're looking for something that's floating somewhere in-between I think you would really like this!

So shiny!

Very hydrating, good colour pay off and feels lightweight. The colours don't last as long as a lipstick but great for a day-to-day natural lip balm!

Perfect for me, but don't expect a lipstick.

(Shades: Pillow Talk & Happy Peach): Definitely more like a balm, the colour payoff is sheer but is present. I found I used this more on my ‘no makeup, makeup day’ to give a slight colour to my lips without having to wear actual lip products. I have dry lips and have been searching high and low for lip balms/moisture products and this killed two birds in one stone for me. Would recommend it if this sounds like you!

Disappointed.

I expected more from these and I have to say despite pairing with a lip liner they just did not last and came off extremely quickly. The formula is quite thick, and I was extremely disappointed by the packaging as I expected something more luxurious. It was soothing on the lips but nothing a lip balm couldn't do.

Juicy

I'm a red or nothing type of gal and always on the search for the perfect juicy lip without the commitment. I nabbed the infamous Pillow Talk shade which is a great nude almost barely-there shade. I really do enjoy how it gives this juicy lip finish to the lips. Of course, nourishing to the lips however obviously not providing the longevity of more matte long-wearing options. I find adding a liner does help with the overall wear of the product as well. I do find the wind-up motion a bit of a task and can sometimes have too much coming out but the size is perfect to slip into a small bag for the perfect touch-up on the go. At the end of the day, juicy lips definitely achieved

Amazing!

This product is just amazing! I love how it makes my lips hydrated and shiny. I have it in two different colours and I am sure I will get more:) Packaging could be a bit nicer but it is still my favourite lip product by far.

Not As Expected

On the positive side I really did feel like my lips felt moisturised for a good while after using this but as a CT fan I feel really let down by this product. I have the Happikiss which is a pale pink but you can't tell. There is very little pigmentation if any. The packaging of the product is really cheap for a CT product too, It doesn't feel any nicer than any high street packaging. You also need to be very careful when twisting it up because if you go too far you can't twist it back. CT seems to have brought out a lot of products over the last year very quickly and if I am honest this one just feels like it was rushed to the production line. If you want a CT nourishing lip product I would personally buy the Miracle oil which also has some colour options now.

Not As Expected

I have been using this for a couple of weeks, wearing it most days but not every and I can see an improvement to the fullness of my lips, they aren’t dry at all but I’m not sure it’s any different from any other balm I would use. I expected more from the overall appearance of the product as well. I have the Happikiss which is pink. I would say it’s more translucent. There is not a huge amount of pigmentation just a little shine which you would get with any lip balm for a lot cheaper. The packaging is very disappointing. Don’t twist the lip balm up too much because you can’t twist it back down. The packaging also feels cheap and incredibly basic, no different from any other high street lip balm. As a big fan of CT I think I just expected a bit more effort going into the product. I won’t be buying again.

Not Impressed

Love CT products, but this is an overpriced lip balm - very cheap packaging - the white inner tube becomes messy and the balm itself is not easy to accurately apply.

Not Worth the Money At All

Beware of twisting the lipstick too much because, for some ridiculous reason, you can’t then twist it back down. It’s all really gloopy and melted. Feels very much like an “unfinished” product. Such a shame because CT is my fave :(
