From the matte formula, I own Amazing Grace, Pillow Talk, Very Victoria, Pillow Talk Medium. I’ve got dry lips so before started using CT, I steered clear of mattes. However, these are beautiful velvety demi-matte. These shades wear off beautifully, leaving a subtle stain behind. Hyped for a reason, they worth the price tag in my opinion. The only con is that once you try a CT lipstick, there’s no stopping buying them. I’m telling you, they are addictive!

Pillow Talk Medium is stunning
Amazing formula, with a light vanilla smell (quite like MAC lipsticks). I have very fair skin with auburn hair and it is still flattering on me, just the same as the original pillow talk, also beautiful. Stays for a long time if used with lip liner. My favourite lipstick formula going.

I was so disappointed in this colour on me. I thought it’d be a beigey pink but it turns out to be a purpley brown on me, which doesnt suit my colouring at all, it just makes me look washed out. Saying that the quality of the lipstick cant be faulted.

Favourite lipstick
What I love about CT lipsticks is the texture - it's creamy and velvety on the lips, and it really makes your lips look more polished and well taken care of. However, I wish the CT team would give us more information about which shades suits what skin shade the best. I have dark hair, brown eyes, and pale skin with cool undertone and the shade Pillow Talk - which is being promoted as a universally flattering shade - looks absolutely terrible on me. Just a waste of money. I do however adore shades Red Carpet Red, Secret Selma, and the Queen.
