Hold the brush horizontally and use the flat side to push upwards and coat the lashes.
Twist the wand and brush through with the bristled side to comb each individual lash from root to tip.
Wiggle the bristles from side to side, base to tip, to separate, lift and define the lashes.

It defiantly gives you length.
This is my go-to evening mascara from now on... Just like you change up your lipstick shades, and perhaps wear slightly more foundation on a night out, this is a more dramatic look. I personally wouldn't wear it in the day because It would look clumpy against my very natural tinted moisturizer and lip balm makeup look. But this mascara paired with a smokey eye and contoured skin, it works great! Adds drama and depth.

Disappointed
After all the Hype & being my first CT product I thought I must be applying it wrong, it is not the worse but for price & talk, I was expecting excellence and will not be buying again.

So disappointing
Ok first up the pros. Very black. Sticky so it holds a curl. That’s about it. Now to the cons. It’s sticky and gloopy. It’s been designed to create a messy clumpy look which you apply with the flat bit, then you turn the wand to the comby side and un clump it. I mean just that in itself is mad - design a brush that does both. It’s horrid and messy it goes everywhere it’s hard to get off and the packaging is tacky. Pass. Stick to legendary lashes volume 2 it’s such a sexy lash.

Looked like a panda after some hours
I adore Charlotte Tilbury, she is my all time favorite makeup artist. And my expections were huge on this launch. I have no problem applying the mascara and the result looks pretty good. Unfortunately, after some hours the mascara starts to smudge and the product makes me look like a panda. Got a bit shocked when I looked myself in the mirror after some hours at work.

Terrible panda eyes
This mascara certainly lengthens and thickens lashes well and is a great colour. However within a couple of hours I had terrible panda eyes. Tried it again and the same thing happened. I was at work and so embarrassed. Certainly won’t use it again.

This is such an amazing mascara! Worth every single penny! No its not a volumizing mascara but it sure does lengthens and makes your lashes more fuller and longer. I would 10/10 repurchase. Already bought a backup.

Messy
I'm not the most talented when it comes to applying make up but I thought a mascara wasn't going to be too much of a challenge. I was wrong! Pillow Talk Mascara does curl your lashes but with my hooded eyes it smudged all over my lid and crease and I had to resort to put a coat of full fat lashes on top. The brush is great but this product is just not for me I guess.

All about application!
I've now tried this a few times and I am prefacing my review with the fact that you need to get used to the brush. It is SO unique and different from anything else I have tried that it does take some getting used to. You don't apply this like any other mascara, and it takes the right technique to get it to work...but when you do the results are so worth it. Always start with the 'flat' side first, pushing the product into the base of your lashes, then work it up through and twist to the bristle side to distribute the product and work through to the lengths of your lashes. You can then flip it and go in vertically with the tip to really define and get to any stubborn, hard to reach lashes. A really welcome surprise was that this didn't smudge on me, and everything bar a tubing mascara smudges on me, so that was a huge plus and almost pushed it back up to 5 stars. Honestly, I've never found a normal mascara that does not smudge on my oily eyelids. The only reason I'm taking off a star is that it just doesn't hold curl for me, and that's a big thing that I look for in a mascara. However, my lashes are so particular and my best friend bought this as soon as it launched too and is obsessed, it holds curl for her and just looks incredible. If you have straight, stubborn to hold curl lashes, then this might not be for you, but if you want a volumising and lengthening mascara that is the deepest black I've ever seen, this is for you! Remeber...practice makes perfect!

Don’t believe all the hype!
Purchased this as it was claimed to be the best mascara on the market! WRONG! This mascara is one of the worst I have ever tried. Leaves my lashes full of clumps that is so wet and sticky it goes everywhere when I’m applying it. It has no staying power and within a couple of hours of applying, I’m getting panda eyes and smudging at the corner of my eyes. Think I’ll stick to my High Street brand mascara that costs half the price and is so much better application and wear
