Start from the inner corner of the upper eyelid, as close to the lash line as you can. Good but Not for oily eyelids
If applied correctly, it’s a lovely eye pencil. It’s soft just enough for comfortable application. I found that applying setting powder on my eyelids really helps. Otherwise it just melts away after some time on my oily eyelids. (I do use a rich eye cream, so that’s an extra reason)
