Powered by a dual-action formula, this hero marries exfoliating acids with a hydrating cocktail to gently dissolve dulling dead skin cells and leave your complexion looking plumper than ever. Glycolic acid, salicylic acid and bio agave acids (also known as BHA and PHAs) combine to decongest and minimise the appearance of dark spots and uneven skin texture. It gets better... a natural extract of prickly pear helps to lessen the look of fine lines with quick and cumulative benefits. Polyglutamic acid then works in conjunction with hyaluronic acid, resurrection leaf, avocado oil, glycerin, allantoin and aloe vera, to lock moisture in and exhibit a smoothing and firming effect. Baby soft and radiant skin
I have probably tried most exfoliating masks and treatments in my time in the industry, and it takes something really special to get me excited nowadays. I will preface this with the advice that more sensitive skins, or anyone new to acids should not start on this. Even my tough skin found this tingly for half the 20 minutes it was on (not uncomfortable at all though), so definitely one to build up to and get your skin used to acids before diving into this little treat. Now onto the results, I decided to use this during a day-time lockdown self-care bath and wanted to try something new. This definitely tingled for the first 10 minutes or so, nothing painful or uncomfortable, and it just shows it's working so I loved this feeling. I am a regular exfoliator with acids so it takes something really special to see a big change in my skin, but when I rinsed this off my skin was baby soft and so radiant, even my super stubborn blackheads looked reduced. I finished up with a hydrating mist, hyaluronic acid and an oil and my skin was literally almost reflective from the glow! Definitely one to keep in your skincare arsenal for days when you are feeling a little dull or lacklustre and in need of a boost and pamper. The inki on this is incredible, such a great mix of acids and soothing and hydrating ingredients too. Well done Charlotte Tilbury, my glass-like skin thanks you!

Not for me
I love a bit of Charlotte Tilbury and I love some acid exfoliation. Sadly this was way too potent for me. I don't have particularly sensitive skin (combination skin) and can get away with trying most things but I went in cautiously and used it for just 5 minutes rather than the 20 suggested. Unfortunately, this has left me feeling very sore around my nose and on my forehead and broken me out with a cluster of painful spots on my cheeks (note: this is the only new addition to my usual routine). It's a shame that I'll have to pass this on to a friend to try. Maybe CT will come out with a lighter version in the future.

Great exfoliant
This is an effective exfoliant, which left my skin feeling really clean and really smooth. Would recommend it for anyone who has used an AHA, BHA and PHA before. This might be a little too strong if this is your first time. The only reason I am giving this a 4 star instead of a 5 is that I personally am not a fan of masks. But overall, great product which I recommend!
