For a gentle exfoliation (that won’t irritate already sensitive or inflamed skin!), this detoxing formula uses sea salt crystals (which won’t clog up your plug or cause damage to the environment like other exfoliants!). There’s a ‘Natural Carbohydrate Complex’ which helps to rebalance your scalp's natural defences by reducing the moisture barrier-compromising effects of dehydration. And you’ll also find bisabolol, extracted from the Brazilian candeia tree, which helps to calm your scalp as it cleanses away dirt, pollution and excess oil.

Once a week, or immediately after rinsing a chemical colourant, apply a tablespoon of product onto wet hair. Gently massage into the scalp, including the nape of the neck, and emulsify. Rinse thoroughly.

Great deep clean
Definitely helps remove build up and leaves my hair/scalp feeling super clean. I have been using about once a week. The salt crystals are quite big so it feels very scratchy but not enough to irritate the scalp.

Great scrub
Love this, feel like it really cleans my scalp. Have tried others but the salt crystals in this give a much better scrub. Has been a life saver during the lack of hair shed in pregnancy. Cleans my hair really nicely as well.

Wonderful
Absolutely beautiful product. I have a very very sensitive scalp so most products react to it except for this one. It cleanses my hair so beautifully and still doesn’t leave it feeling dry. I still prefer to use a deep conditioner afterwards and that combination is perfect. My scalp and hair feel so calm after using this product. A must for me and I hope they never stop making it!

One of the best shampoos ever!
I love this shampoo. I use it once or twice a week to give my scalp a deep clean. It starts out very rough to exfoliate then turns into a beautiful lather. You do need a conditioner after though!

Great product
When I first used this product I don't think I used it right. It does have large salt crystals in it which can be a bit confusing. A little product goes a long way and does create a good thick lather on the scalp. Now that I have worked out how to use it, I use this or the Briogeo scalp product approx once a week to really give my scalp a good clean and it does feel much better for it. I had seen someone online mentioning using this post colouring their hair to get rid of the excessive colour build up on the scalp - I'm going to give this a try next time I colour my hair.

A scalp detox essential
I use this as a weekly deep treatment to exfoliate my scalp and remove all the product build up. It foams up really easily and you can feel the sea salt pieces massaging the scalp but it isn't at all irritating. The sea salt also then disintegrates at a really good pace so you get some exfoliation but it doesn't leave any residue and all washes away easily. I combine this with the Regenerating Mask and it leaves me hair super sleek and soft .
