For a gentle exfoliation (that won't irritate already sensitive or inflamed skin!), this detoxing formula uses sea salt crystals (which won't clog up your plug or cause damage to the environment like other exfoliants!). There's a 'Natural Carbohydrate Complex' which helps to rebalance your scalp's natural defences by reducing the moisture barrier-compromising effects of dehydration. And you'll also find bisabolol, extracted from the Brazilian candeia tree, which helps to calm your scalp as it cleanses away dirt, pollution and excess oil.

Once a week, or immediately after rinsing a chemical colourant, apply a tablespoon of product onto wet hair. Gently massage into the scalp, including the nape of the neck, and emulsify. Rinse thoroughly.

OK, but a little drying
This was the first scalp scrub I ever used and initially I was impressed. However, I found that I needed to use a lot of product to really feel any cleansing benefit on my scalp, which then would make my hair feel really dry (wavy/curly shoulder length) before using a hair masque or conditioner aftwards. I've since use other scalp scrubs which have left my hair feeling more moisturised (as well as cleansed) and I would choose them over this product sadly.

Worth the Price
I am very impressed by this product. With my thick hair, I was amazed at how little product I needed. It left my hair feeling incredibly clean and refreshed. The only downside is that I didn't really feel the salt crystals on my scalp, but it may be because of my hair's thickness.

I’ve used scalp scrubs/exfoliants from other brands and didn’t mind them, never enough to repurchase. I’d need a lot of talk about this on tik tok, my first mistake was not realising how small 75ml was, luckily you don’t need much of this product. It foams up to be a shampoo but after a few uses now I prefer a scalp scrub tonic. I don’t feel the beads of this scalp scrub do much, they get lost in your hair and rarely you can feel them on your scalp.
