Apply to dry hair. Load up the small end of the brush with powder. Use free hand to pull hair flat/taut against head and press brush down firmly into roots, starting from scalp and working out (do not use sweeping motion). Apply more powder as needed. To extend highlights, use the side edge of the small brush.

Best of this type of product.
I have used so many products for inbetween hair colouring. This one is incredible. Even if a new product of this type came out I would not try it because I do not believe this can be beaten. So easy to use, no residue or Sticky mess. The colour lasts until you next wash your hair & the product lasts so much longer than the spray/powders I’ve used before. Highly recommend

Good, but not as good as the sprays
Not as good as the sprays, but was concerned the sprays may be clogging hair follicles. Does cover up, but tricky if your trying to cover the odd grey or those on the hairline. Tip - instead of sweeping the brush, pat or push into the hair. Does a good job of staying on once in place, without leaving reside on your pillow, so it will last until the next wash. Also, careful not to get the small pieces of loose power from the palette anywhere else, as it will stain other clothes.

I usually use black, but it was sold out. The dark brown is a very good substitute. No warmth or chocolate tones, just ashy and dark. Very good for root coverage.
