Shampoo, condition and towel dry. Divide hair into sections, then spray liberally and evenly on damp (not wet) hair. Do not apply other styling products to damp hair. I’m really impressed with this. I have really thick/coarse hair and this spray helps to smooth it out before I straighten it. I don’t section my hair (like the instructions say) as I find I use too much so I spray 4 pumps into my hand and pull it through with my fingers on one side then the other and I find this works better for me. Will definitely buy the big bottle when I’m finished using this
