With simple monochrome bottles that let the scents do the talking, D.S. & Durga’s gender-neutral perfumes make a fine addition to any vanity. Carefully crafted from vegan ingredients that are cherry-picked for aromatic payoff and quality, each scent is shaped in New York City but their stories span the world over. Like a building with only a structure — the interior is for you to fill as you please — the modern aroma can be worn alone or layered over perfumes and oils to enhance their notes. Made with a fresh bergamot accord, an amber-like vetiver acetate and firsantol (a lingering sandalwood), this innovative spritz highlights other scents rather than masking them.
