Dark and gritty — yet with a surprising tranquillity — the candle transports you to the most northern peak of the British Isles, to the wild beauty of Scotland’s Orkney Islands.

Like the jagged beauty of the Scottish wilderness, D.S. & Durga’s Tomb of the Eagles Candle evokes the mythical beauty of the ancient burial site from which it takes its name, nestled in the wildflower-lined cliffs of the Orkney Islands and overlooking the North Sea.

Encased in peach tinted glass with a monochrome illustration that captures quite perfectly the spirit of its scent, each of D.S. & Durga’s evocative candles is designed to look chic on your mantlepiece as it transports you to a moment in time. This fresh-yet-earthy scent melds top notes of clover and cold sea, heart notes of sea pinks and sweet cicely and base notes of island moss and grass. Light the wick and be transported into wide open spaces filled with fresh air and salty breezes; a deep, calming breath.

It is important to trim wick before each use. When using the candle for the first time, keep the candle alight until the entire surface is covered in liquid wax. This should take approximately one hour and will ensure a more effective, even burn for all future uses.
