Great colour

I’ve used the gold, tobacco and the chestnut so far, and I’ve been impressed with the colour pay off so far. I am using this one to cover some balayage ends that I’ve grown tired of.

It’s ok.

It’s just ok. The shade is unfortunately too warm for me. It lasts only 1-2 washes.

Always in my wish list

The balm gives a deep tone to the hair. It washes out quickly, but that's okay

Okay

I love davines, but I didn’t love this. It leaves the hair quite dry, and it stains. A lot. Apply with gloves or be prepared to have brownish hands and nails for a couple of hours, post-fake tan effect.

Soft hair

I maybe can't see too much difference to the colour, but the softness this brings makes it so worth it!

Not the best product from Davines but works OK

I used the Silver as I recently died my hair and was left quite orangey. I then decided to get the blue conditioner to remove the brassiness from my hair. Luckily, they had a travel size which allowed me to try it on and not have to buy the full size which is quite pricey. I leave it before washing my hair for about 15 minutes and then apply again after shampooing. It's ok, although hasn't changed the colour on my hair too much. I may have to use it more time to see a more drastic change.

Red Conditioner

I recently got my hair coloured and use this Red Shampoo and Conditioner every 2nd wash to maintain the colour. It’s really good, leaves hair in lovely condition, and gives it a nice boost of deeper red. Would recommend!

Back to red❤️

Nearing 50 my natural red hair has gone lighter and more orange. After first use it’s added a bit of the depth back, plus softness and shine. This product suits me well and smells great (the shampoo is good too, reminds me of cough medicine - yum!)

The worst purple conditioner I’ve used...

This literally DOESN’T WORK. I have salon bleached hair and I have used this product multiple times to try and keep on top of brassiness. I first used it in the shower, on wet, shampooed hair for 10 minutes. Nothing happened. I then tried using it on dry hair to see if it would work better but again it did not work. I am so disappointed and I will be sticking to brands I trust. I’m confused as to how and why this product has good reviews. Not worth your money. Save £10 and buy a cheaper but way better purple shampoo/conditioner.

Redheads beware!

Having looked at a selection of colour depositing conditioners I decided to use the red option of the Alchemic range. Big mistake!! It is not red (it’s pink) and it neither enhanced nor nourished my auburn hair. It’s like, more like a paste than a thick conditioner, making it very difficult to spread evenly. It also gave my hair a cerise pink tint as opposed to enhancing my red hair. If you are redhead, do your research and unless pink hair is what you are aiming for, avoid!!!
