Great for hold
I have used the medium one of these for a decade and cannot fault it: this one is great too, definitely more hold but also does leave your hair a bit dry / crunchy which the medium doesn’t. So I use this for up dos and stick with the medium for down which I find strong enough to hold curls / waves etc
