It’s also formulated with a gentle chelating agent that draws out dulling minerals, product residue and impurities to reveal your brightest blonde yet. Although it has the most visible results on blonde and highlighted hair, it can be used on darker hair to purify and condition it without impacting its colour.

I've had better shampoos.
The shampoo is very efficient, lathers well and washes out of the hair. Unfortunately, it leaves a very unpleasant smell on the hair, which makes it unusable for me. It dries the hair a bit and makes it tangled, so you can't do without conditioner. For this price, it is not a good product for me.

Thought I’d change up after trying the quay clarifying shampoo and not being happy. Used it twice and it has defiantly helped remove build up, I think I will stick to the k18 instead.

Drying
I really hoped the shampoo will do some kind of bleaching job on my hair but all I am finding is that it is very drying and not at all lightening. It is really thick in consistency, you only really need very little and it foams so much. It kind of leaves my hair smell funny, I don't like it. My hair feels like straw despite using high quality conditioner or leave in treatment. Will not be buying again.

Brighter hair
I have fine, bleached hair which always need a little oomph. My colour is on the warmer blonde side and this product has been great at making it look more fresh. This shampoo isn't heavy but is super hydrating.
