Hydration perfection

I agree with the reviewer saying that this is just perfect and simple hydration for the skin. No fuzz - just a soothing and cooling drink for dehydrated skin. It absorbs immediately and leaves my skin soft and plump. My skin type is combination oily/acne prone/sensitive/forever dehydrated, so finding a product to suit all my needs is rare, but this moisturiser just does it for me. As a product junkie, I rarely stay faithful to products over time, but this moisturiser is just one of those few products I keep coming back for. After a long day, my skin just craves the soothing feeling of this moisturiser. It's just the perfect moisturiser in my opinion, and I will never be without it!

Probably great for some, not for me

I got this as a sample with an order from CB. The good is that I imagine this is a nice product for minimalists and younger people, because it's easy and provides hydration plus some AHAs. I agree it absorbs immediately and I can imagine normal to oily skin people liking this. The bad, because I'm in my mid-30s and already use AHAs and retinoid separately, I find it a bit annoying when a product contains them in what seems to be very small amounts. This really irritated the skin close to my eyes which always puts me off of products that are intended to hydrate or moisturize. Also, I really hate that it has fragrance (which is a mild to moderate citrus smell).

Perfect simple hydration

I have sensitive skin and had been using some pretty active products and really just wanted something to put on after all the active products to sooth and hydrate my skin and this hit the spot. It is like a tall glass of water on a hot day for your skin. Loved it.

Caroline Hirons brought me here .. take 02

I have combination skin with quite an oily t-zone and my skin loved this. The gel texture is cooling, hydrating and comfortable on the skin, sinks in like a dream and keeps my face happy both day and night. Definitely repurchasing this when I run out.

Caroline Hirons brought me here

I have sensitive combination skin that's prone to congestion and oil, and this is a perfect product for me. It's very hydrating, oil free and gentle. It soaks in straight away, without leaving me with the feeling of having something with too much silicones on my skin. The consistency could be a little thicker though, it's a little too runny for my taste, but it's still a wonderful product that I plan to order again very soon.

What I've been looking for!

I have a dry skin but still struggled to find a moisturiser that sinks into my skin relatively quickly (I have a 16 month old child - I need efficient products for my morning skincare routine!). This is my 4th moisturiser as many months and I can finally stop my search! It's light - almost gel-like - but still leaves my skin properly hydrated and plump, and it sinks in very quickly. I use it as my final layer after hyaluronic acid, vitamin D, vitamin C, anti-pollution serum and I don't get an oily/greased up face (hooray!). I do however mix in a drop or two of facial oil too on particular cold/windy days, just to ensure I get enough moisture. Come summer, I'm sure I won't need the additional facial oil.

Good for summer

I bought this moisturiser when I was looking for something oil free to combat a greasy forehead and patchy foundation! It worked great in the warmer months but it's not quite enough for in the colder months (for combo skin). For those with oily skin I would imagine this is great all year round. Anything with hyaluronic acid is a winner for me but this also has the added bonus of glycolic and lactic acid (although probably in very low quantities).
