A plant-based complex of cardiospermum, echium and sunflower rebalance and calm irritated skin, reducing redness and burning to restore peace to your complexion. Purslane the key super plant active used by Dr. Sturm across the range activates the skins own antioxidant system to calm inflammation and protect sensitive cell membranes against free radical attack. Use as a concentrated serum before applying a moisturiser. Screw the pipette onto the bottle. After cleansing the skin, apply the serum and after absorption, then apply a moisturiser. To reduce skin sensitivity, apply regularly in the morning and/or evening over an extended period of time.

Just amazing
The calming serum by Barbara Sturm is a league of its own. I suffer occasional bouts of rosacea and it’s instant. It just takes down the redness, calms everything. Amazing product... So expensive, so I just use it on cheeks but wonderful. Highly recommend it to anyone with sensitive skin. It’s worth the money.

My go-to to calm my skin
The mini bottle was part of a Cult Beauty goody bag and I immediately restocked for the larger bottle once I had finished it. It is so lightweight and easily absorbed. I have red, angry skin that gets a lot of sun and AC exposure and this serum really neutralises the rage! Very soothing and a staple of my skincare routine. A splurge but delivers on it's promises.

Truly amazing
I had a bad eczema patch on my back. I know this serum isn't made for eczema but seriously this serum calmed it while nothing else did. Since then when I have sensitive patches on my face I use this. I really love this product for what it does.

After a big dose of retinol, Aha, vitamin C, E and all the other ingredients I use for my anti-aging skin care this serum is a wonder! Any time I feel my skin is a little irritated I use a few drops and everything gets back to normal!

A comforting cuddle for my angry skin
Working in this industry my poor skin gets put through a lot! I want to try every new product that launches so this is my go-to for when I have overdone it and I need any inflammation to settle. This gorgeous lightweight milky texture fits nicely into my routine to hydrate and calm my angry skin.

Got the sample in the Goody Bag. I can’t say how much I love this serum. I ordered full size now. It makes my skin silky, plump and glowing. Even applying it is a joy. I am in love with this serum and my skin looks so fresh and younger.

Gentle, yet powerfully calming
I get extremely sensitive and dry skin in winter, or during times of stress, and this serum is so soothing. Now that the whole family is washing their hands and using alcohol rubs all the time, I also use the serum on all our hands, beforehand cream.
