Use as a concentrated serum before applying a moisturiser. Screw the pipette onto the bottle. After cleansing the skin, apply the serum and after absorption, then apply a moisturiser. To reduce skin sensitivity, apply regularly in the morning and/or evening over an extended period of time.

The Skin Queen
Ever since I discovered Sturm, I have not been able to fault any product. The calming serum does exactly as it says and reduces and inflammation or redness that one might get. I suffer with terrible redness around my nose area and the calming serum works every single time to reduce it. Thank you Barbara for your skin care!

Skin-changing formula
I went for it and bought this along with the Anti-Pollution Drops and Glow Drops. This combo has changed my skin! It's pricey but I'm constantly on a lookout for products that will improve my skin - I have blemished and dull skin. I'm also willing to make the investment as long as they don't cost more than US$250 a piece. Tried these 3 in combination and tried them separately for 4 weeks and my skin is now 70% even-toned and has a nice glow! I've also brought them on long flights and they work sooo well to keep my skin hydrated and less dull. Based on separate trials, the Calming Serum is top of my list followed by the Anti-Pollution Drops. I think Barbara's anti-inflammatory philosophy in her skincare works much better on my skin than I expected. I forgot to add that I also have the Sun Drops (LOL) and while not horrible, it's not something I would run out and get. Save your bucks on that one.

My hero
This serum ‘saved’ my face after having a severe reaction to exfoliating treatment that contained Lactic Acid (despite knowing I’m allergic to this, I did not read the list of ingredients to check). Used the serum immediately after the treatment and again in AM and by lunchtime, the redness disappeared. My skin was almost back to normal in less than 24 hours. I’ve been a big fan of this serum for some time now and would normally use it after dermarolling, but after this experience, it’s a definite MUST HAVE on my bathroom shelf.
