A cleansing foam and gentle enzymatic peel in one, this finely grained powder creates a soft foam when mixed with water, allowing it to cleanse intensively yet gently. Removing rough or dry skin while also minimising excess oil, the formula contains vitamin c and enzymes, leaving your complexion fresh, radiant and refined, while also making it more able to absorb any active ingredients you use after cleansing. Dr. Barbara Sturm’s formulas yield maximum results with minimum products, protecting, strengthening and detoxifying without overburdening the skin.
An innovative way to cleanse, Dr. Barbara Sturm’s Enzyme Cleanser is a cleansing foam and gentle enzymatic peel in one, gently exfoliating to remove dead, dulling skin cells and stimulate cell turnover to leave fresher, glowing skin. When mixed with water, the finely grained powder creates a soft foam when mixed with water, cleansing gently and preparing skin perfectly for optimal absorption of any actives you use afterwards. Removing rough or dry skin and minimising excess oil, Enzyme Cleanser leaves skin fresh, radiant and refined – use it two or three times a week to supplement your regular daily cleansing, or use it daily if you have oilier skin.

Absolutely reccomend
I previously used the Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant and was referred to this by a friend who told me how amazing it was for his skin. I've used this product for over 3 months now consistently and I can say it is way better than the Microfoliant. Skin feels superbly cleansed, but not stripped or dry. Brightened and helped clear patches of hyperpigmentation thanks to the Vitamin C content. I Will not live without. I use this in conjunction with the foaming cleanser (another superb cleanser).

Fab
Unlike other exfoliators that make my skin very red after use, this does a better job leaving my skin fresh and soft without the unnecessary inflammation. A little goes a long way with this product! I use this no more than 2/3 times a week depending on my skin! This is a top 5 product in my skincare! Using Dr Sturm products has been a game changer for my skin. I feel confident wearing no makeup and my skin in glowing.

Cleared my bumpy skin and lasts a lifetime
I had this on my shelf for ages and boy, I wish I’d started using it before!! I have chicken skin on my upper arms and this has improved it to the point where I can’t see it - I’ve had this for years!! Plus I keep feeling like I’m using a load and I’ve barely made a dent in this.

Great deep cleanse
I have combination skin, prone to spots/ oiliness on chin and forehead but fairly sensitive on cheeks. I absolutely love this cleanser. I only use it when my skin is feeling particularly oily or I have a few active spots and it takes are of them in one wash, without irritating my face. Brilliant product.

FAVOURITE CLEANSER
I love Dr Barbara Sturm and bought this product a few weeks ago, following receiving a sample of it from a Cult Beauty order. I am obsessed, my skin feels so clean and soft. My skin feels better than it ever has been!

Amazing just like her other products!
Purchased this to replace my Dermalogica daily microfoliant and I’m so happy I did. You need the smallest amount too and it leaves your skin glowing and so smooth. Tip: I love to leave it on for a couple of minutes to let the vitamin c to work.

Bad reaction
I bought this cleanser after doing a LOT of research. I’m 38, have fine lines and wrinkles, and my troublesome skin is combination / sensitive, with a tendency to get congested around my nose and chin *sigh*. I used this cleanser once and my skin felt squeaky clean. I’m always told this isn’t a good sign, but alas, it felt like it had had a thorough clear-out, and I was hopeful for the congested areas. It wasn’t uncomfortable in any way and my sensitive skin wasn’t protesting at the time, however, the next day I had the worst breakout of my life! Red spots everywhere - even in places I’ve never had spots before (in my eyebrows and on the end of my nose). I haven’t dared use again. My skin cleared up after a week or so and I’ve spoken to Cult Beauty and they have advised to return it as it sounds like an allergic reaction. Everyone’s skin is different (And I bought this because of the many great reviews), but maybe see if you can get hold of a tester first.

Enzyme Peeling for Sensitive Skin
I am fairly light skinned, not really paper-white, but more translucent, meaning that my skin is very thin and all of the red spots, the rosaceae and small veins are easily shining through when I am not wearing make-up. And a lot of times I do not wear make-up during the day and just go to work proudly displaying a good, albeit problematic skin and some very disturbing dark circles (people ask me if my liver is okay more times that I would like to admit). That being somewhat gratuitous said, my dermathologist, who performs controlled chemical peeling on my skin, recommended me to avoid at all costs any at-home peeling products that have grains or particles that could further affect my babylike skin and that, between appointments, I should go for enzyme peeling at home, no more than 1 or 2 times a week. For this particular conundrum I started investigating what my options are, and I can honestly say that Dr Barbara Sturm has designed the product for me. I found that this cleanser is exactly the right balance between a scrub and a cleanser that leaves me feeling like I have removed all dirt, superficial dead cells and whatnots without hurting my skin and actually leaving it feeling smooth and squeaky clean. The sensation is really good, I compare it to the satisfaction you get after a good dental brushing when you can actually hear your teeth creaking and squeking because of how clean they are. But with a soft touch to it, God bless. I would recommend it warmly, especially to those of you who find themselves somewhat in tune with how I have described my skin at the beggining :)
