Neither Super Nor Anti-Ageing

I use several products by Dr Barbara Sturm ('DBS') and decided to treat myself to her Super Anti-Ageing Cleansing Cream as we enter into the colder autumn/winter months. As per advice, I apply the cream onto damp skin or dry skin if I have been wearing make up/sunscreen. Personally, although the cleansing cream leaves your skin nice and soft, I find it too heavy to use am and pm. Therefore I use it for a light morning cleanse or sometimes as a first step make-up remover and the DBS foam wash in the evening. Overall this is a fragrance free, not irritating cleansing cream that I would suggest better suits dry skin types. It's just not worth the price tag since it is neither "super" nor "anti-ageing" (indeed I struggle to see how any cleanser that washes off can be 'anti-ageing').

Not quite Super nor Anti-Ageing

I use a number of Dr Barbara Sturm ('DBS') products and decided to treat myself to this super anti-ageing cleansing cream as an alternative to the foam cleanser as we head into autumn/winter. As advised, I apply the cleansing cream to damp skin for a gentler morning cleanse and to dry skin if I've been wearing sunscreen/make up. If you have oily/combination skin, you may find this a tad heavy using it twice a day as I found it did cause a few whiteheads initially, especially in the t-zone (I use this am and the DBS foam cleanser pm). Overall this is a gentle cleansing cream with no fragrance or other irritants. It's just underwhelming for the price tag and I am sceptical how a face cleanser - that is washed off - can ever really be "anti-ageing", let alone "super anti-ageing". Basically, its just a nice but over priced cleanser for dry skin types.
