The best…and I should know
I’ve been a beauty junkie all my long life, it’s my very guilty pleasure, and over the years have tried hundreds of brands. I do however baulk at obvious overspend (creme de la mer…) and would never have indulged in this eye gel. But I received a sample in the luxury edit and this is the best for me. It lasts and I have taken advantage of the 20% offs. I have used eye cream for 40 years so my eye skin is relatively unlined but this gel really makes a difference - for me. I was without it for a couple of weeks recently and felt and saw the lack. I don’t write reviews but I do read them and they do sway me - one of the reasons I don’t review. No product will benefit every skin and ultimately yes, any effect of anything applied to the skin surface is temporary and superficial but as Jean Kerr said ‘What do you want? An adorable Pancreas?’

Super Eye Booster
Whilst not cheap, Dr Levy's Eye Booster certainly lives up to its promise, out performing many comparable eye products I have used at a similar price point. Under eyes do indeed look brighter with the appearance of fine lines diminished. Plus, with this serum, you only need a tiny amount as a little goes a long way. Indeed, if you slather it on and overlay product, you will end up with a dry white powder sitting under your eyes (as demonstrated by my first not-so-great- attempt at applying the concentrate!). So, my tip is just gently tap on/apply one layer of the gel and let it dry for the 'sticky' minute. I was a tad nervous as the concentrate contains retinol which I don't have a great history with however it is way down the ingredients list and I had no issues what so ever. As advised, I started gently with this product, applying it one a day, every other day for 10 days.

Expensive, but great
I had a sample of this before taking the plunge since it is expensive, but I really like it. I have quite sensitive eyes but I have no irritation with this, and it’s definitely helping to plump up the fine lines I’m starting to see around my eyes. You only need a tiny amount, so hopefully it will last me a while. Just knocked one star off as I don’t love the packaging, I think it will be difficult to get every last drop out, which I want to do at this price!
