I bought this to help care for my dry winter skin and am really pleased with it. I’m a bit picky about moisturiser— hate anything too thick or oily feeling— but this formula is great. It definitely helps my skin recover from the cold and wind without feeling too heavy. Will purchase again

I'm a huge Dr Jart , so was excited when they brought this cream out. I've found it to be a bit of a saviour for my skin in the cold winter weather - it is super hydrating, and keeps my skin moisturised and feeling velvety all day, and has helped big time with flaky or dry patches of skin, especially when I layer a hyaluronic acid and face oil underneath it. The texture is almost like a body butter for your face, and I was sceptical when I first went to use it, but it melts into the skin right away. Given how thick the cream is, you only need a tiny amount, too, so I imagine one pot is going to last me a long time! Very glad I bought this, and really recommend for those with severely dry skin, eczema, or needing barrier repair.

Sadly I thought this was going to be an upgrade from the tube version. It wasn't. The tube version of this was balmy and melted into my skin. Went to repurchase and saw this tub had the addition of Ectoin so would be even better? Not for me. Texture is a bit more solid, like cement paste and I haven't noticed the same glow I used to wake up with when I used the tube. Unfortunate. But if you're looking to boost your ceramides in your skincare routine it's worth a consider, but I just absolutely LOVE the texture from the tube version. Not sure if the Ectoin delivers any difference for me.
