winter skin care game changer
This has been an absolute lifesaver for my skin this winter. My skin is usually combination, so it is hard to find something that hydrates the dry patches without making the oily areas worse. This is even worse in winter when the shifts from cold wind outside, to warm, dry air indoors from heating usually irritates my skin. This product feels like it not only hydrates and protects my skin from the elements, but also helps to repair the skin's barrier and prevent further irritation and damage. I love the original cream in warmer weather but this is definitely a winter skincare staple.

For me it was a blind buy. I was so intrigued by ectoin, that as far as I read is THE thing in skincare, and I had to buy it! I always loved Dr Jart products, so it was a safe and successful buy, because I cannot be happier with my acquisition! I’m in my early thirties now and I feel in the winter I need more hydration than in the summer especially since introducing a retinal. This cream is a thicker cream and it is heavier than your average everyday cream but when applied to the skin almost melts and becomes quite buttery but then sinks in and does not feel greasy. I’m so fussy and I’ve been through so many night creams but I’m so relieved I have found this cream. I started off using it only at night but now I use it occasionally in the daytime. The sent its light and fresh not overpowering and the cream feels very soothing. This will definitely having a solid place in my regular skincare routine!

Bought this as I have been an avid used of the dr jart ceramidin cream for a few years now. Found out that it has been discontinued so bought this cream instead. It’s a lovely cream, quite a bit thicker than the tube but still works well. Too rich for the day time for me though but works well as a night cream.

I usually love everything Dr Jart and had high hopes for this moisturiser but was left quite underwhelmed. It’s not awful just nothing special. I have very dry and sensitive skin and this hydrated with no irritation but it doesn't leave my skin feeling plumped or glowing. It dries down very quickly and leaves a matte finish…just not for me. But would not discourage others from buying.
