Like the rest of the Drunk Elephant range, Tiffany advises that A-Passioni Retinol Cream can be applied and mixed with any other Drunk Elephant products to make your own signature 'smoothie' (and buffer the strength if your face needs to build up its tolerance). Suggested cocktails are to mix 'A-Passioni' with {C-Firma} in the daytime (always followed up with a broad-spectrum SPF to shield from sunshine!), or to combine with {Lala Retro Whipped Cream} at night if your face is reactive or you've never used a retinol before. Proceed with caution if your skin is sensitive - do a patch test to assess your cells' tolerance, then use sparingly to begin with - building up the frequency over the course of several weeks.

Good bur strong
I've been using DE's retinol for 1-2yrs which has been on and off depending on my schedule. I really loved it at first but have found it very drying lately, even with a strong moisturising schedule. Autumn may to blame. However it is a product I continue to come back to.

Probably the strongest retinol product I know for me.
My skin (yes, as a man you are said to have thicker skin than women) can tolerate all sorts of products, whether chemical or enyzmatic peels. As time goes by, the first wrinkles get deeper, the skin has a more troubled appearance, pimple marks take longer to heal, I have ventured into retinol and while I tolerate a 'Medik8' product excellently and without side effects, this product is probably the most effective and potent I have ever had: Started using it once a week in the evening and after a short while the skin looked smoother, rejuvenated, calmer, so I had started using the product about every 4-5 days until one night I got the stupid idea to apply it two nights in a row: Result was like an extreme sunburn, nothing could calm the skin, which burned and began to peel. That was unpleasant 3-4 days, but then I probably had the most beautiful skin as not for many, many years. Even complexion, smaller looking pores and the skin felt soooooo soft. I now alternate between the Medik8 product and the drunken elephant every 3-4 days and that tolerates my skin now very well, the effect of the two products in combination is so good that I have now bought the small package for a friend so that she is also excited about it. Yes, expensive, but you really need and must use very, very little, so that a super price-performance ratio.

Effective retinol
Love the packaging and it seems to be effective on my skin. Also like that there’s no overpowering smell.

The best retinol I have ever tried
Gives such smooth clear soft skin, with no irritation, and lots of fruit oils in the ingredients to pamper the skin

Not so great
It didn`t do much for me , didn`t notice a difference and it`s pretty expensive, not worth it.

Wow!
Without a lie this began to work on day 1. I noticed that my skin seemed more even-toned the morning after first use. It has now been 5 or 6 days of nightly use (followed by the Protini cream), and for the first time *ever* my pores are clean and smaller. Nothing worked before, and I react badly to BHAs, especially willow bark, or too much hyaluronic acid; I even tried Sunday Riley's A+ serum and still nothing worked on my pores....until this product! This is now my nightly retinol, and will remain so for the foreseeable. 🙏🏻

DE's unsung hero
I was a bit hesitant when I ordered this, because unlike other Drunk Elephant products, this one didn't have many reviews or a cult following online. But since I was buying an entire routine from the brand, I decided to risk it and boy, was I right to do so. I've been suing it nightly with the Protini cream (plus a shot of the B-Hydra serum) since February and my skin has never looked better. It's smooth, luminous, clear and I swear some of my fine lines have faded. Even some stubborn breakouts I've had on my neck for years are gone. I don't understand the lack of hype around this product, but it's really unfair. 10/10

Great
This is a repeat buy for me. I'd say it's compatible to Sunday Riley's Good Genes but I prefer this as it's unscented. It helps with my complexion but doesn't completely eliminate forehead bumps.

Love drunk elephant
Having been a fan of DE for a while I had been wanting to try their retinol cream. After reading the reviews I thought this would be really strong but it’s not. It’s a nice cream and does make my skin look smooth next day, but I would of like a tingle or something on the skin, just to let me know it’s working

Drunk Elephant Retinol
Definitely works, best to use it as instructed then build up. I mix & match my products with Dr Dennis Gross, currently my two favourite.
