Ideal for all those who're already acquainted with the wonders of retinol (this can trigger irritation and peeling if your skin is sensitive, or if you're new to the retinol realm), Drunk Elephants game-changing A-Passioni Retinol Cream is the perfect addition to your evening-time routine.
A powerhouse complex, this potent, silicone-free formulation of 1% retinol boasts comforting and nourishing ingredients (passionfruit, apricot, kale, winter cherry extracts, skin-firming peptides and essential fatty acids), to give lazy skin cells a boot up their bottoms! This product means business - promoting skin renewal and boosting collagen production while reducing depth of wrinkles and improving signs of damage - and with continual use, it rejuvenates cells to reveal aber vibrant, revitalised skin. Like the rest of the Drunk Elephant range, Tiffany advises that A-Passioni Retinol Cream can be applied and mixed with any other Drunk Elephant products to make your own signature 'smoothie' (and buffer the strength if your face needs to build up its tolerance). Suggested cocktails are to mix 'A-Passioni' with {C-Firma} in the daytime (always followed up with a broad-spectrum SPF to shield from sunshine!), or to combine with {Lala Retro Whipped Cream} at night if your face is reactive or you've never used a retinol before. Proceed with caution if your skin is sensitive - do a patch test to assess your cells' tolerance, then use sparingly to begin with - building up the frequency over the course of several weeks.

Skin saviour
My fav treatment for my 40 year old skin. On my fourth tube after using for last two years, seen significant difference in my skin condition and always revert back to this one over others like Medik8 retinoate.

The best out there
I have a lot of experience with retinols and this one is my favourite ever. I am at my third purchase, it absolutely changed my skin. Of course, retinols take time to work and you should build your tolerance. Be careful, this one is really strong. I am up to using this every night, followed by a thick overnight mask. You should really be consistent with SPF though in the morning, it is mandatory if you are using retinol.

Love
Love this product, it makes my skin feel plump and smooth. Although I did/do experience some peeling, if I apply the Ordinary niacinamide first it helps and I don’t experience any sensitivity or irritation.

First Time With a Retinol
I'm 39 with combination-oily skin that is textured & possibly dehydrated. I'm a bit late to the Retinol party but I've finally arrived! I've been using DE's Retinol nightly for 1 month now and always following up with a night cream. Having previously had ridiculously oil skin, my skin tolerated the Retinol immediately. After a month I think I can see a difference in texture and some minimising of fine lines on my forehead. Enlarged pores on the side of my nose remain tho so I'm adding Paula's Choice BHA Liquid Exfoliant to see if that helps. I will keep using and I recommend this product though I will give Sunday Riley A+ a try when this runs out.

Sinks in perfectly, and the results are amazing. You just have to take it lightly at first.

Disapointed
I'm a fan of this brand so I was so excited after reading all reviews of that product and ordered it immediately. I used it for a month and unfortunately, it made my skin blemished. Be careful if you have oily skin.

Totally resurfaced my skin
This is very strong product. I have been mixing one tiny pea size amount of this with Lala Retro cream and 2 drops of the Marula oil. I apply it at night and wake up with new skin! It totally resurfaces my skin. The buffer with the cream and oil also means no irritation. My skin has been extra oily - so oily that I wouldn't ever use a moisturizer however since using this my skin is a little on the drier side. I only use this once a week.

Love it
I swear by retinol, my skin is glowing! I started at 0.3, then 0.5 strength (skinsceuticals) before moving to this 1.0 strength, absolutely no problems with drying or sensitivity. It is really important to build up in strength. Along with an SPF, which you absolutely must use every day when using retinol, this (and skinceuticals equivalent) is the most effective product of all the serums and creams.

Worth every penny!
I’m in my late thirties and I’ve been using this for 10 months now. It really has made a huge difference on my skin. During the first two months I almost gave up as this made my oily/combination skin flaky, dry and horrible! After my skin got used to it I’m so glad I didn’t. Now my skin is glowing and honestly looks a few years younger. In the beginning I mixed this with Protini polypeptide and used 1-2 nights per week. Then slowly left the mixer away and increased the use to every other night. Totally worth every penny!!
