Like the rest of the Drunk Elephant range, Tiffany advises that A-Passioni Retinol Cream can be applied and mixed with any other Drunk Elephant products to make your own signature 'smoothie' (and buffer the strength if your face needs to build up its tolerance). Suggested cocktails are to mix 'A-Passioni' with {C-Firma} in the daytime (always followed up with a broad-spectrum SPF to shield from sunshine!), or to combine with {Lala Retro Whipped Cream} at night if your face is reactive or you've never used a retinol before. Proceed with caution if your skin is sensitive - do a patch test to assess your cells' tolerance, then use sparingly to begin with - building up the frequency over the course of several weeks.

Brilliant product, perfect skin
I am finishing my second bottle and here to buy the third. It transformed my skin miraculously! I used to have tiny colorless pimples on my forehead for forever. It really made me self conscious and I used to cut bangs to hide them. Nothing could help at all! Then I reviewed my eating habits, which were always super clean, even vegan and raw at some point. But that didn’t help the skin either. And then I discovered probiotics. I took the ones from a Swiss brand PharmAlp which was just amazing, for over a year. Amd at the se time started using DE retinol. Omg what a change. My skin is perfect now. Just perfect, healthy, smooth, glowing, no need for amy makeup and no blemishes anymore, none. I can’t recommend this enough. (And healthy gut for your beautiful skin). I haven’t tried any other Retinols out there but never going to:) will stick with what’s working perfectly.

Terrible product - caused me to break out
If I could give ‘0’ stars I would! I received a sample and I broke out so badly after using this. I followed the instructions and limited it to once a week. After the third week, I stopped using it as I had so many spots.

IT WORKS WONDER BUT USE SPARINGLY
I was contemplating buying this for ageeees, as this costs £62. I finally took the chance and got it around 3 months ago. Since my skin never reacted with acids I used way more than a pea sized amount and IT WAS A BIG MISTAKE. My skin started to get really red and I was freaked out. So I stopped for a while and when my skin was back to its normal state I started using this again, a pea sized amount once a week. It’s been around 2 months now and my skin changed for the best. I had some texture and scars from previous breakouts and now my skin is baby smooth, and my scars are fading slowly. I’m so happy with the result and will continue to use this as this is definitely an investment product. Also please be careful when using this product, make sure you follow the instructions, as you don’t want to end up like me at the beginning

Life-changing
Always had huge problems with acne etc and this cream has completely transformed my skin in the time I have been using it. Patience is required as it tends to bring a fair bit of acne and blemishes to the surface within the first few days of using it regularly, but then works to combat these quickly. I can honestly say that this is the only skincare product that has ever had any kind of lasting effect on the appearance of my skin - it has reduce my acne scars too! Extremely good for textured skin, I struggle with the small under the skin bump acne on my forehead and it has worked miracles on these. I cannot recommend enough!

I am sad
I read so many nice reviews, it looks like the product is working for other but not for me. I have been using it for the past 10 days and I have a lot of break outs as well as 1 small part of my upper lip got very red it is hurting a lot as well. Sadly I gave up using the product as it is only hurting and messing my skin. I will have to continue searching for the right retinol.

Eczema and neurodermatitis
This retinol is by far my favorite! I have tried the ones from the ordinary before, but I did not like the oily texture and it never really sinked into my skin after applying. But this one is different, the texture is creamy and sinks in immediately. I follow it with the Protini moisturizer and although my skin is very oily and prone to break-out, this combo never made me break out. I suffer from neurodermatitis and I noticed that my skin reacts to silicone-based products (e.g. dimethicone) so I threw out all silicone-based products and my skin has never been better. The A-passioni is silicone-free which is a huge bonus! I LOVE IT!

Excellent- but use sparingly!
I’ve been using much lower dose retinol for a while on and off and after some research decided that lockdown was the best opportunity I’d get to try stronger retinol with no one there to witness the initial reaction. I’ve used it cautiously for about 5 weeks now, every 4-5 days, and I’m in love with this product. I’ve used sparingly - a small pea-sized amount and only at night - the advice from the brand on this seems to conflict with what I’d read elsewhere, but I’d rather be cautious. This product is amazing, when I wake up after using, my skin looks more even and brighter and just ‘feels’ better. I have noticed that my normal combination skin is somewhat drier now, so I’ve had to up the moisturising game quite a bit. But that was expected. I would absolutely recommend this product, but I would also say to people wanting to try it - this is strong stuff - You really do only need a little - I bought the small tube to try and after 5 weeks have used hardly any - so go easy, I can see how you could have a bad reaction to overusing it.

Underwhelming
This retinol is so underwhelming I can't believe my eyes when I re-read the positive reviews in here. And I'm saying this as a first-time retinol user. Used it religiously, every 2-3 nights for 3 months now and the result is non-existent. Absolutely nothing.

Believe the hype!
Acne-prone, oily/combo, mature skin here, and when I use A-Pass during my alternate nights, I wake up the next day with plum, clear, even, rosy cheeks! My skin drinks this up and there’s no greasy residue. This has become my staple and alternate it with Framboose (the other HG)! However, I had to get my skin used to A-Pass as it is extremely potent and initially I woke up with a red, painful face; it looked like I got badly sunburnt. But once I dialed back and let my skin adjust gradually, I was blown away! I followed DE’s instructions and started 1/week, then 2/week, after a few weeks 3/week, etc. After I distribute and massage it into my skin, I follow it with LaLa or another moisturizer. Another important thing is to use sunscreen, preferably broad-spectrum SPF 50. I’m sure A-Pass is not for everyone, but I highly recommend giving this one at least a try because if it works out, it’ll work brilliantly!!

Psoriasis and sensitive skin
I was really hesitant about buying this as I have psoriasis on my face and very sensitive skin. I've taken it really slowly so far twice a week use and I always prep my skin with another product beforehand. It's been great for my facial psoriasis and my break outs have dropped down significantly would definitely reccomend giving this a try if you are a first time retinol user like me and a little wary.
