This product means business - promoting skin renewal and boosting collagen production while reducing depth of wrinkles and improving signs of damage - and with continual use, it rejuvenates cells to reveal aber vibrant, revitalised skin. Like the rest of the Drunk Elephant range, Tiffany advises that A-Passioni Retinol Cream can be applied and mixed with any other Drunk Elephant products to make your own signature 'smoothie' (and buffer the strength if your face needs to build up its tolerance). Suggested cocktails are to mix 'A-Passioni' with {C-Firma} in the daytime (always followed up with a broad-spectrum SPF to shield from sunshine!), or to combine with {Lala Retro Whipped Cream} at night if your face is reactive or you've never used a retinol before. Proceed with caution if your skin is sensitive - do a patch test to assess your cells' tolerance, then use sparingly to begin with - building up the frequency over the course of several weeks.

Underwhelming
This retinol is so underwhelming I can't believe my eyes when I re-read the positive reviews in here. And I'm saying this as a first-time retinol user. Used it religiously, every 2-3 nights for 3 months now and the result is non-existent. Absolutely nothing.

Believe the hype!
Acne-prone, oily/combo, mature skin here, and when I use A-Pass during my alternate nights, I wake up the next day with plum, clear, even, rosy cheeks! My skin drinks this up and there’s no greasy residue. This has become my staple and alternate it with Framboose (the other HG)! However, I had to get my skin used to A-Pass as it is extremely potent and initially I woke up with a red, painful face; it looked like I got badly sunburnt. But once I dialed back and let my skin adjust gradually, I was blown away! I followed DE’s instructions and started 1/week, then 2/week, after a few weeks 3/week, etc. After I distribute and massage it into my skin, I follow it with LaLa or another moisturizer. Another important thing is to use sunscreen, preferably broad-spectrum SPF 50. I’m sure A-Pass is not for everyone, but I highly recommend giving this one at least a try because if it works out, it’ll work brilliantly!!

Psoriasis and sensitive skin
I was really hesitant about buying this as I have psoriasis on my face and very sensitive skin. I've taken it really slowly so far twice a week use and I always prep my skin with another product beforehand. It's been great for my facial psoriasis and my break outs have dropped down significantly would definitely reccomend giving this a try if you are a first time retinol user like me and a little wary.

Great, but give it time.
I have used all the acne products there are since my teens. Now in my mid-30s my skin isn’t as bad but I still suffer from cystic acne (mainly hormonal), scars, and fine lines. Years ago after using Roacutanne, I was prescribed a treatment and my skin never looked better. However, after having children my skin was ruined again. I bought this in Aug2019 and have used it consistently every night. The first four months were horrific but knowing that retinol causes breakouts etc, I wasn’t too worried. My persistence paid off and now my skin is so clear, even my scars are fading. You must stick with it though, even when your face is looking it’s worst! One tube has lasted me from August to April with nightly use.

Uau
I was SOO afraid to buy this because of the negative reviews... I really wanted to start retinol since I just stopped breastfeeding and I'm 33 with acne scars and some fine lines but my skin is very sensitive and dehydrated because of the chemical peels I have done and the AHAs I use but I had no bad reaction at all, I'm using twice a week yet with caution but so far I love it and my skin looks more even when I wake up! Still too soon to tell but I'll update this in a few months!!

will buy again
This is my first foray into retinol. I have sensitive skin prone to flake with new products so was worried but this is great. I started slowly once a week or so but now up to 3-4 times a week at night. My skin always looks better in the morning after using this - brighter and smoother

fiyatına değer worth the price
tek kelime ile çok güzeldi hayran kaldım zein obagi ile kıyaslama yaparsam bir tık kremsi yarısından daha ucuz olmasına rağmen çok başarılı ama dr dennis daha güzel bu retinolden In one word I was blown away. If I compare it with Zein Obagi, the cream is half the price yet it still performs really well, but Dr. Dennis is much better than this retinol

Be careful
As a Mum of a baby and toddler, I barely recognise myself these says and my face is really showing signs of sleep deprivation and general neglect. I listened to a podcast that concluded the only skin saving products worth investing in are vitamin A and a good spf. I have used many skin care brands (mid range to more expensive) and wanted to try a retinol cream. A Passioni has great reviews for the most part and so I took the plunge (I had been using another vitamin A cream for the month before to get my skin used to retinol). I put it on my face the night it arrived and (yes you’ve guessed it), the next morning I was bright red, flakey and in a fair amount of pain. The hardest thing was that any of my hydrating moisturisers that I tried to apply made my skin burn. I resorted to coconut oil which also stung, but less severely. Because my skin felt so dry all of my finer wrinkles appeared more defined, especially where my skin was thinner (laughter lines and around the eyes). Even my less than observant husband was shocked. Now... at this point I have to admit that I used more than a pea sized amount, but the instructions from the brand are not clear enough. This is an extremely strong cream and should be used only by experienced retinol users. If you are thinking of purchasing, I would get a sample and do a skin test first. I would also be really careful about which products to mix it with. After some research, I have used CeraVe face moisturiser to calm my skin. The hyaluronic acid apparently works well with retinol. Call me completely nuts, but once my skin has recovered, I am going to try it once more using only the pea sized amount, mixed with the CeraVe moisturiser. If I get better results, I will remove this review and write another! Please please do not mess with this product!!!! Caroline Hirons has a very accurate review of A Passioni. Look it up!

Listen to the instructions
I really like this. My previous retinol was the Ordinary's advanced retinoid (original one) and I do find this one way more effective, at a cost: you need to tread carefully and really build slowly, otherwise, you'll get irritated skin. I have had it for a month or so now and still only use it once every two days, mixed in with other creams. I do find that it has smoothed my forehead wrinkles and has evened out my overall complexion a lot. Another benefit is that you don't use a lot. Would recommend for non-retinol naive people.

Me gusta!!
Me gusta mucho este retinol, más que otro de gama alta P.....C...,pero llevo más de un mes de tratamiento nocturno y parece que se han frenado sus efectos en mi piel... seguiré utilizándolo a ver qué pasa.... I really like this retinol, more than another high-end, but I have more than a month of night treatment and it seems that its effects on my skin have slowed. I will continue to use it to see what happens.
