A super-potent concoction starring a host of powerful antioxidants,Drunk Elephant’s C-Firma Day Serum stars 15% pure L-ascorbic acid (a potent form of vitamin C), 0.5% ferulic acid and 1% vitamin E - supported by a host of antioxidants and enzymes - which work to neutralise aggressors and replenish precious lipids to diminish visibility of lines and pigment patches. Also starring pumpkin ferment and pomegranate extracts, the serum enzymatically dissolves dead surface skin cells for a smoother-than-smooth texture. Finally, a sodium hyaluronate cross-polymer quickly penetrates skin and provides intense hydration. The result? Avoid if oily skin
I was excited to try this Vitamin C but after two uses, I couldn't wait for it to finish! Left my skin very oily and shiny. This product contains marula oil which is an oleic acid that must be avoided by oily skin types. Product had a lingering smell - which was a constant all-day reminder that I was wearing a Vitamin C serum. Giving 1-STAR for packaging. Will not repurchase :(

I don't understand the hype either
I just finished my first bottle and I'm definitely not going to repurchase. The formula is heavy and sticky and I would be willing to tolerate this AWFUL-AWFUL feeling that leaves on the skin if I would see any results. Nothing! It didn't do anything in regards to brightness or fading scars. I don't know if as an antioxidant helped my skin not to become any worse, but there are so many other resumes that do that without leaving that disgusting feeling on your skin.

One of my favourite moments in the morning
I bought the DE C-Firma Serum upon a friend's recommendation and I'm very happy I did. My complexion seems to love it :) It felt a bit too sticky in the beginning, but after a few days I found the perfect amount for my face and neck. It's absorbed really quickly into my skin so I can continue with my skincare routine in the morning. I also love the packaging and the pump dosage so that the air doesn't enter into the recipient. I keep it in the fridge and in the morning I can't wait to reach for it :) I will surely buy it again.

Causes blackheads
For the record, i do have acne-prone skin but more so whiteheads than anything else. I never really had any blackheads until i used this product. At first i loved it because it made my skin quite soft and a little brighter. But after 2 weeks of using it i started seeing blackheads everywhere on my cheeks and forehead. I believe they were caused by the Marula Oil (comedogenic rating of 4), which is by the way in almost every DE product. I think it would be a good serum if they were to put another oil in there, meaning it could work for non acne-prone skin types.

Not for me
Had high hopes but my skin didn’t like this product. It made my pores look larger and my skin look blotchy. It doesn’t smell very pleasant. The orange tinge in the formula stays on your face because the formula is quite sticky and doesn’t absorb well at all. I gave it 3 out 5 because I know it works for a lot of other people. The packaging is nice and it contains good ingredients but I won’t be buying this again.

Causes blackheads and breakouts
I was so excited to get my hands on this after finishing a more expensive serum by Tata Harper (the rejuvenating one, which is great). There is literally nothing I liked about this Druk Elephant serum. The packaging feels incredibly cheap, the pump system doesn’t work with how liquid the serum is (if you use it upright the serum just seeps into the twist-down cap), the serum’s texture is liquid-thin and oh so sticky, and it smells funky (and not in that cool “organic” sort of way). And that’s not even to mention what it does on skin: it doesn’t really absorb and remains sticky for a while, which I think is what causes the blackheads and breakouts as its consistency seems to attract dirt like a magnet. After a month and a half of use (sometimes skin takes a while to get used to a new product, after all) I’ve yet to find any positive results. If you’re still tempted to try this one please start with the smallest size you can find and save your ££.

Won't buy again
I've bought two bottles so far. The first time I obviously liked it, even though it's sticky and remains this way throughout the day. But this time once my second bottle is finished I won't repurchase because of its stickiness and price. It also irritates my skin slightly. It tingles and burns for a while after I apply it and it also smells a bit bad. I'll try a cheaper alternative.
