A super-potent concoction starring a host of powerful antioxidants,Drunk Elephant’s C-Firma Day Serum stars 15% pure L-ascorbic acid (a potent form of vitamin C), 0.5% ferulic acid and 1% vitamin E - supported by a host of antioxidants and enzymes - which work to neutralise aggressors and replenish precious lipids to diminish visibility of lines and pigment patches. Also starring pumpkin ferment and pomegranate extracts, the serum enzymatically dissolves dead surface skin cells for a smoother-than-smooth texture. Finally, a sodium hyaluronate cross-polymer quickly penetrates skin and provides intense hydration. The result? A noticeably brighter, more radiant complexion, with signs of ageing and photo damage minimised. The airtight (and cute!) container also helps the formula to stay super-fresh.

Does the job!
Best Vitamin C serum I have tried so far. I do find it slightly difficult to apply on clean skin so I usually mix it with a little hydration serum. Skin looks bright and glowy after use.

Overpriced and hyped up
this is not a bad product per se, but it's also not very good. Considering the price and the hyped up brand name, it's not worth it - there are far better vitamin C products that are both more effective and cheaper. This one is tacky on the skin, so takes a while to absorb. It also pills - not good for layering! While it states it's 15% of pure L-ascorbic vitamin C, it has no skin reaction - not even the tiniest of tingles, which is really strange given that a 15% content of pure vitamin C would have a naturally lower p.h. level so a tingling would be unavoidable. This means, this one is just not effective, it's oxidized already by the time it gets on the skin, so might as well not waste money. I also started getting suspicious of any brands that pair up vitamin C with naturally yellow/orange coloured components - it just makes it so easy to hide the oxidation process, so one cannot tell whether the serum is fresh or not. This one has pumpkin - never heard of any amazing skin speific properties of pumkin, but hey - it's orange in colour (how convenient) and not as widely used as citrus oils or turmeric. So I do not recommend this, there are far better products at a fraction of the price. Not trusting this brand and the hype around it every again.

WORTH IT.
This is one of the few products that I've purchased again and again, despite the high price. I have sensitive/reactive skin and this product leaves my skin super glowy and fresh-looking. It does not make my skin react in any way which is very rare with highly potent products. Yes, it is tacky, however, you are supposed to pat it on and let it sit for 10-15 minutes before applying sunscreen (always use sunscreen with Vit C to avoid spots) and/or moisturiser. The product is already orange, which does not mean that it's oxidised. The fact that it comes in a pump bottle means it is protected from sunlight. One pump is enough for my face and neck. One bottle usually lasts me 8 months if I use it every day.

Nice product, but I guess it isn't for everyone.
After trying a sample version, I was looking forward to using this serum. However, for some reason the product didn't live up to my expectations. After a month of an almost daily use, I haven't seen a massive impact on my face. I haven't experienced any skin reactions or anything, and the product does wear well under makeup. However, I didn't feel like it changed the way my skin looked. Maybe I need to wait a bit longer to see an impact? Also, the formula is pretty tacky and sticky, which makes it hard to apply, and I really dislike the smell of the product (I hadn't notice any of these things in the mini sample I had previously used).

Holy Grail status!
One of the best vitamin C serums I have ever tried! It’s slightly sticky when you first put it on. Works wonders on pigmentation and blemishes. I use it in the morning and always followed by sunscreen. It’s on the pricey side but I have just repurchased because it’s amazing!

This is my third or forth bottle of this. It’s the best vitamin C product I have tried so far, which is unfortunate as the price isn’t fun. But it’s very good

Give it time
Initially I didn’t like this, I found it very thick and took a long time to absorb. However, with perseverance it absorbs much faster now- I don’t have time to wait around so I am pleased to see that it is absorbing much better. Gave 4/5 because I am not sure if this gives me spots or not- I have started using it again to test.

Go to Vit C serum
I love this serum - it smells fantastic and I've really noticed an improvement on my cheeks in terms of texture and breakouts. Also, I am still using the same bottle I bought over 4 months ago now despite using every morning. Incredibly good value although an expensive initial purchase.
