Not this time ;-(

This serum was too heavy for me, I have a normal skin with tendency to be dry. It clogged my pores and made my skin look angry in some way. The smell was also not pleasant - I love non-fragrance products but this one put me off somehow - and the orange color was disturbing. I love other DE products so much, but not this one.

Good for my dry skin

I have acne prone dry sensitive skin, a lot of post acne pigmentation so I ordered this serum to help me get rid of it. My spots got visibly lighter in like a week. Even tho it didn't get rid of them completely (but my case is rather severe), you can def see that it's working, and working fast. Oily texture of this serum doesn't leave your skin greasy and soaks in pretty fast. Also love a very light pumpkin scent that comes from pumpkin extract. Love this product.

A pass

I gave this many chances but every time I use it my face gets red patches in some areas *To the garbage* I think 15% LAA is too much for my skin. I tried Clinique’s 10% freshly pressed vitamin c and I did notice a glow effect when I was using it. Guess I'll be going back to it!

Lovely!

Really really great. Feels lovely on the skin and under makeup; no sensitivity issues. I say it's worth the price

Good Product

Great little vitamin c, non sticky, non greasy, can’t say I’m blown away though from the results but it does the job.

Sensitive skin

I can’t tell you how many vitamin C serums I have tried over the years. They all irritate my skin. My cheeks would always always flare up and I would be a hot red mess all day. This one doesn’t irritate it at all!! I can’t believe it! I use just one pump for the whole face. I’ve been using it for a month now and I can’t say if it fades dark spots or protects me from the sun but at least I can use it and have a vitamin C in my routine!! Whoop whoop!! I’m sure it’s doing what a vitamin C is supposed to do. Just my luck that it costs me £67 but yay!!!

The only vitamin C serum I trust

I trust this serum because of the high percentage of vitamin C, along with ferulic acid and vitamin E. To my understanding, every vitamin C serum should consist of these 3 ingredients for max effect and stability. I love that they use pure ascorbic acid as their vitamin C source instead of a weak derivative like others do. I appreciate the airtight packaging which is hard to come by in antioxidant serums. This ensures it doesn’t oxidize as quickly. You definitely have to mix it with a hydrating serum, because C-firms is thick and doesn’t spread easily on its own. Also, marula oil is high on the ingredient list. It’s odd they don’t highlight this.

Great product

First tried this in the rise and glow set from Cult Beauty and absolutely loved it. It's not sticky or greasy and I've noticed serious reduction in the redness of my skin. I was skeptical of DE claims- but I can honestly say this and the glycolic serum are my new favourites. I'm a convert!

no... just no

Fortunately, I didn't have to deal with blackheads since middle school (I'm 32). That is, until now. I've used other Vitamin C creams and serums in the past and this one is by far the worst. It smells horrible, dyed my hands bright orange (brought back some memories from my early teenage years), gave me the worst blackheads I remember having and on top of that didn't do anything (and I mean anything) good for my skin. Didn't improve texture, didn't firm, didn't brighten. I went through about a half of the 30ml bottle and have absolutely no idea how to use up the rest of it...
