Everybody in the Cult’s getting tipsy! Serious skin, hair and body care heroes that don’t take themselves super seriously, Drunk Elephant’s rise to the top of the industry pops has been (rightfully!) meteoric. Founded by Tiffany Masterson who wanted to formulate products without any ‘fillers’, this all-star collection is powered by biocompatible actives – a mix of synthetic and plant-derived extracts – that skin recognises and knows what to do with. And, because of their ingredient-elimination philosophy, you won’t find any of the following ‘Suspicious 6’ – drying alcohols, silicones, SLS, chemical screens, essential oils or fragrances/dyes – so you can ‘reset’ your complexion and help both your skin and your tresses to flourish like never before.

This super-potent vitamin C day serum is brimming with antioxidants, essential nutrients and fruit enzymes, all of which work together to firm and brighten the appearance of skin and minimise signs of ageing.
A super-potent concoction starring a host of powerful antioxidants,Drunk Elephant’s C-Firma Day Serum stars 15% pure L-ascorbic acid (a potent form of vitamin C), 0.5% ferulic acid and 1% vitamin E - supported by a host of antioxidants and enzymes - which work to neutralise aggressors and replenish precious lipids to diminish visibility of lines and pigment patches. Also starring pumpkin ferment and pomegranate extracts, the serum enzymatically dissolves dead surface skin cells for a smoother-than-smooth texture. Finally, a sodium hyaluronate cross-polymer quickly penetrates skin and provides intense hydration. The result? A noticeably brighter, more radiant complexion, with signs of ageing and photo damage minimised. The airtight (and cute!) container also helps the formula to stay super-fresh.

Not great, especially for the price
I really wanted to love this product, especially given all of the buzz it's had lately. I'm a long time Keihls fan so getting me to try something new was a bit of a leap. Sad to say this just didn't hit the mark. It left my face feeling a bit sticky/tight... not at all well hydrated/nourished. Also, the bottle is deceptively small... you run through this in no time flat.

Its fantastic
After reading these reviews, I dont think people are using this serum as it was intended to be used. As vitamin-C is so unstable, you need to use some sort of buffer. A hyaluronic acid serum or the B-hydra serum should be combined with this serum. When combined, the serum is no longer sticky and unpleasant like most vitamin-C serums are. The combination creates a silky smooth finish that feels amazing on the skin.

VIT C
Considered this for a long time, but so glad I went for it it is a pleasure to use, it is slightly tacky when first applied, but sinks in beautifully ready for moisturiser. Would definitely recommend

So disappointed
I waited and saved up to buy a few drunk elephant items and was so excited for them to arrive, I was so disappointed from the minute I used it. It smells vile, the texture is sticky and feels horrible on your face. My Sunday Riley serum is much nicer. Won't be buying again

Not so easy to spread
At this price point I would expect an amazing product in all aspects however it’s texture is very hard to spread and you need to use a lot of product if you want to make sure you have covered your whole face. Paulas Choice vitamin C is so much more affordable and need half of the dosage when you want to use on your face and neck. As the products itself it’s decent but nothing life changing.

Just no.
This serum was a big mistake and I regret buying it. Def try a mini version which I should have done. If I just ignore that it really smells weird, the serum is very sticky, it was not absorbing well and just the idea of topping it with moisturiser and sunscreen was unpleasant. I tried several combinations (skipping moisturiser, skipping sunscreen, using different ones, using it in the evening) and nothing helped. My skin was whole day oily and the feeling of the serum on the skin was heavy. I stopped using it after two weeks because my pores were getting clogged a lot, especially on my cheeks. (I have a combination of sensitive skin.)

Heaven made product❤️
First started using the mini version and lasted little close to a month,Since C-Firma has hype over internet, I decided to purchased the full size.I only use this brand right now but I do not mix everything together.!I mix 2 pumps of c firma 1 B-Hydra for my AM routine then followed by umbra sheer. After 2and half months my bottle has come to an end.Ever since C-Firma touch my face ,face looks better but still didn't see any huge improvement since I don't have fine lines/wrinkles what ever you want to say.So I purchased my second full size bottle because I really want to give enough time this product to work .Do I love it yes definitely ,My skin looks little bit brighter an even but you have to use it long enough to get maximum benefit. This and rest of DE products makes my Old acne scars looks better too..

Great serum! Recommend trying the minis out first
I've tried a lot of vitamin C serums (western brands and Korean) and I never end up using them because they all just sit on top of my skin without ever fully absorbing, leaving a tacky texture and smelling very unpleasant. THIS one however is a whole other story. I have oily-acne prone skin and despite its oily texture my skin absorbs it almost instantly and combined with the B-hydra it leaves my skin hydrated and very refreshed. I have used it every day for the past three weeks and I must say my skin is looking more even around previous acne scars and the texture has definitely improved. I bought the mini versions to try them out so will definitely be purchasing the large versions once they run out! (Also I think it’s great the minis last a long time, it really allows you to fully make an opinion of the product)

Oil based serum
Does seem to even out skin tone, but I find the marula oil base very thick and it takes a while to sink in remaining sticky for quite a while, so as others have said less suited to those of us with oily skin/ prone to breakout. I'm continuing to use but sparingly and only on the drier areas of my face.
