hated it

It doesn't lather, smells weird and dries up my hair.

Shiny and smooth

After years of looking for the right product, I think I found it. It leaves my hair shiny and smooth yet it's not greasy even after a few days after washing it. I only need to use a small amount so the bottle lasts quite a while. Thank you!

Awful

This shampoo despite its outstanding content is not doing what it is supposed to be doing. It made my hair fall, and barely added any gloss or shine. The hair is greasy right after the next day, so would not recommend to those with oily hair.

Amazing

Using this alongside the conditioner is amazing, makes your hair feel so clean, very light scent but pleasant - will definitely be buying again.

Super clean and smooth hair

I really liked the way my hair felt after using this shampoo, my hair felt really clean and less frizzy. I have to say I really dislike the smell, so it isn't the nicest experience for me when actually using it, so I am not sure I would continue using it as my staple. I do however think if you like the scent of almond oil/marzipan it is a really solid shampoo.

Really impressed

This feels like my happy place for shampoo and conditioner. It makes my hair feel clean, shiny and soft but without silicone or SLS. Personally, I don’t like the smell of sweet almond oil (marzipan) but like all of the products in their hair and body range, the scent doesn’t linger. Thank goodness! The shampoo does say to only apply once and not repeat and this is good advice if you are washing your hair regularly. Currently, I am washing my hair about every 4 days so I always rinse and repeat to ensure I am getting a good cleanse. It doesn’t create too many bubbles the first time so my hair really needs that second round.

Don't understand the hype

Don't really understand what all the hype is about. Made my scalp itchy and I always had a feeling like my hair didn't get washed properly.

Leaves my scalp feeling so clean!

I have been using this shampoo for a few weeks now and I'm really impressed with it. It lathers up nicely, rinses out well and leaves my scalp feeling really clean! I have been using this along with the Cocomino Marula Cream Conditioner which I also love! I'm typically not the biggest fan of marzipan, however, the scent is really subtle and does not linger at all!

Surprisingly bad

This shampoo smells very good, I love the smell of almond extract/marzipan, but it leaves my hair looking worse than before I washed it. I have frizzy coarse hair and this shampoo makes the ends look very dry, and it flattens the roots of my hair, making it look unwashed and frizzy. It’s also much more watery than I would expect a normal shampoo to be. Total disaster.

Performance is good + ingredients are good

One of the few hair care products on the market without SLS OR fragrance and essential oils, so perfect if you are (very) allergy prone! This shampoo cleanses well, so that my fine hair doesn't fall flat, but doesn't leave my blond waves completely dried out. This isn't a huge tube and Drunk Elephant is always rather expensive, but you pay the same amount of money for quality shampoos at the hairdresser's.
