Just perfect...

These are some of the true stars of the DE range. This collection is really perfect. I even prefer that we get the B-Hydra in the UK rather than the UMBRA SPF that the US gets. I was a long time skeptic of this brand but the products really do, on the whole, match the cult. The TLC is perfect for adding to your nighttime routine for a bit of exfoliation (or a lot depending on how much you use). Protini is an amazing moisturiser... The best gel/cream moisturiser I’ve used. C-Firma is as good a Vit C serum as I’ve tried. I use prescription retinol but the A-Passioni is great for daytime use (under a SPF!!) on the days when I want to use the TLC at night rather than prescription retinol... So I don’t have to skip retinol. Finally, B-Hydra... This stuff seemed like the most pointless part of the DE line up to me but now it’s the one I never skip. It works as a first step after cleansing and gives extra moisture to my moisturiser. It’s STUNNING when just mixed with some Marula Oil after a stripping face mask. This set is worth every penny.

Good way to try out their best products

I had never used Drunk Elephant products before, I just read a lot in blogs. There's a lot of talk around this brand and I felt like treating myself. I got this set as I figured it's a decent way to start using some of their products without "fully investing" in it. I'm 37 and have pale - olive skin. I'm of Indian decent. If I were to rank the products (for me - remember we're all different) I'd say: 1. TLC Framboos - amazing. Your skin actually feels and looks better the next morning. The package says to use every night, I don't. I figured it would dry out my skin. I use it every 2-3 nights. 2. C-Firma - I think it's doing something but I don't know what. I do think it's a well formulated vitamin C serum though. It feels good on the skin and doesn't overly dry it. 3. Protini - the ingredients list says it's great. But it doesn't feel as rich and luxurious as what I normally like. From my understanding though, their other moisturiser feels more rich but this one is actually better for your skin. 4. Hydra B - I think this product feels great. I'm just unsure if it's as good as the ones on top or worth full price for. I think it's a decent hydrating serum, just not the best in the world. But it does feel nice! I put a little on dry areas under some oil at night if I feel the need for it. 5. A-Passioni - I found this WAY TOO harsh for my skin. This is one product I actively didn't like. However, this is because i'm not used to retinols really. I used this once, less than the amount suggested, mixed with Marula oil. It felt harsh right away, but I got a red patch the next day about 18 hours later. I stopped using it, and the TLC Framboos for a few days/one week. My skin is back to normal and I'm on a lighter retinol product. Unless I build tolerance, I will not be going back to that product. All in all, the products are great and it's a very good way to try out Drunk Elephant. Somethings may work, some won't. But most did in my case.
