Encouraging you to get up close and personal with your skin, Drunk Elephant dreams up formulas designed to be mixed and matched to create a smoothie to satisfy all your complexion's cravings. Blended with active ingredients, the brand's signature solutions look to protect your moisture barrier while balancing and maintaining pH levels. The Drunk Elephant Lala Retro Whipped Cream (50ml) is here to answer your skin's SOS call for quenched, nourished skin that looks its healthiest.
Your skin never knew hydration... until now. Taking ceramides and blending these with six African oils then whipping all this into a cream, the Drunk Elephant Lala Retro Whipped Cream (50ml) has the luxurious texture of a rich face cream without feeling suffocating or heavy.
Formulated with marula oil, which is high in antioxidants and omegas to give the skin a powerful dose of hydration, this must-have also stars mongongo to defend against environmental aggressors and baobab provides moisturising and soothing benefits. Elsewhere in the formula, kalahari melon is a super hydrating, rejuvenating oil, and ximenia is rich in vitamin C, making it fantastic at brightening the look of skin. Produced at an ideal pH level of 5.5, Lala Retro Whipped Cream prevents skin from looking dull or dry while delivering a steady dose of moisture during night and day.

Super hydrating
I use this as a night cream along with B-Hydra serum to hydrate my skin. When my skin is feeling extra dry, then I apply it during the day along with C-Firma and Protini. I instantly feel as though my skin has gotten the moisture it needs. Highly recommend. This is my second purchase so far!

Essential!
Honestly put off purchasing this for so long because of the price but I’m so shocked at how good this moisturiser is! Makes my skin feels amazing and doesn’t interfere with makeup applied on top of it either! Have noticed so much improvement to my skin since using this!

The holy grail of skincare
Wow this is my 3rd pot of this product by drunk elephant and I can't see me ever not using it. It comes in a lovely pot with an easy dispensing top so no wastage. Also stops cross contamination. It goes on to my skin beautifully and leaves my skin hydrated and glowing. It sits under my make up nicely too

LOVE IT
I didn't think this would be worth the price but I purchase it on the 20% off days as I think it is expensive but it must be the best moisturiser I have tried. It is great for dry skin as it is a thick moisturiser. The texture is very different to anything else on the market. It is light and fluffy but at the same time thick and heavily moisturising and works really well. I would repurchase this. I tried the duo kit Drunk Elephant sell with this and the glycolic serum in to test it first, which I would suggest. Overall I really love this product <3

One of the best moisturisers, just wish it lasted longer!
This moisturiser is one of my favourite moisturisers for being lightweight but making your skin feel hydrated, just feels like it lasts seconds and then you need to repurchase!

breaks me out
has a couple of comedogenic ingredients in unfortunately. Probably won't be a problem if you don't have acne prone skin - but i do and this just kept causing breakouts all over my fact. Ended up using as a super expensive body moisteriser. I much prefer DE's protini moisturiser.

Good cream if the other one is not available
Bought this in an attempt to branch out from the use of Drunk Elephant Protini Polypeptide Cream, and was left a bit disappointed because it is good, but not as good as the other one.

Saviour for dry skin
I've recently started using tretinoin and this moisturiser has been an absolute saviour for my dry skin. I love the texture, how nourishing it feels, and how the pump gives you the exact amount you need. Having said that, this is definitely not for oily skin types.
