Formulated with marula oil, which is high in antioxidants and omegas to give the skin a powerful dose of hydration, this must-have also stars mongongo to defend against environmental aggressors and baobab provides moisturising and soothing benefits. Elsewhere in the formula, kalahari melon is a super hydrating, rejuvenating oil, and ximenia is rich in vitamin C, making it fantastic at brightening the look of skin. Produced at an ideal pH level of 5.5, Lala Retro Whipped Cream prevents skin from looking dull or dry while delivering a steady dose of moisture during night and day.

great moisturiser
I love this moisturiser and it makes my skin feel so soft however it smells a bit like Play-Doh which could be off-putting for some people

Softening and Soothing
I use this cream in the evening as part of my skin cycling routine, applying as a last step on the evening when I use retinol and the evening when I use lactic acid. I use it with the ‘matching’ eye cream and I do think it helps to ensure my skin is kept healthy and moisturised. My skin feels plump and smooth in the morning!

Great moisturiser - too much packaging
The moisturiser itself is fab. My only hang up is that the packaging bulks out where the cream is stored to make it look like a bigger and more generous product. It’s just a waste of plastic and cupboard space in its quest for BDE.

My favourite moisturiser
I have just finished my 5th tub of Lala and about to buy my 6th. I love this product. The dispenser keeps things simple and clean (you need less than one pump, I find) and the cream itself is smooth and sinks in quickly. It is very moisturising and soothing for my dry, mature, redness-prone skin. I tend to switch between Lala and Kate Somerville DeliKate Recovery Cream, which is slightly heavier but doesn't work any better than Lala. Very highly recommended.
