Encouraging you to get up close and personal with your skin, Drunk Elephant dreams up formulas designed to be mixed and matched to create a smoothie to satisfy all your complexion's cravings. Blended with active ingredients, the brand's signature solutions look to protect your moisture barrier while balancing and maintaining pH levels. The Drunk Elephant Lala Retro Whipped Cream (50ml) is here to answer your skin's SOS call for quenched, nourished skin that looks its healthiest.
Your skin never knew hydration... until now. Taking ceramides and blending these with six African oils then whipping all this into a cream, the Drunk Elephant Lala Retro Whipped Cream (50ml) has the luxurious texture of a rich face cream without feeling suffocating or heavy.
Formulated with marula oil, which is high in antioxidants and omegas to give the skin a powerful dose of hydration, this must-have also stars mongongo to defend against environmental aggressors and baobab provides moisturising and soothing benefits. Elsewhere in the formula, kalahari melon is a super hydrating, rejuvenating oil, and ximenia is rich in vitamin C, making it fantastic at brightening the look of skin. Produced at an ideal pH level of 5.5, Lala Retro Whipped Cream prevents skin from looking dull or dry while delivering a steady dose of moisture during night and day.

Love
This moisturiser is so lovely and rich. I use it especially in the winter when my skin feels more dried out. It is a bit pricey for what you get though, which is the only downside. I love mixing it with the Protini moisturiser.

Allergic reaction
Unfortunately, I had a sort of allergic reaction to this product - my skin was red and itchy. In hindsight, I’m now realising that I used to have that reaction previously but I was struggling with various skin issues at the time and didn’t realise this product was making matters worse. I had not used DE moisturisers for over a year and thought I’d give Lala another go but regret it now…

Great moisturiser
Thick and creamy but sinks into the skin well! Made my skin feel so amazing I made people touch my face... Have been trying out lots of different moisturisers, and this one is certainly up there. I will probably repurchase it as I haven't found anything as good for less money!

Good but nothing special
Great whipped moisturiser that is nourishing enough but doesn't remain tacky or cause fluff to stick to your face (there are some moisturisers that do this terribly).Works day or night and has never pilled. This is product will last about 2 months and is nothing special for the price to be honest. Maybe worth it if you use point to buy it and manage to get it during a sale which there often is.

Expensive
I really like this cream however for what it costs, it doesn’t last long at all. I like how you can use the bottle with the pump or twist the lid off and scoop the cream out

Great for winter
I've been using Lala Retro Whipped Cream for more than a year now. I have combination to dry skin and could say that it works great for me in the winter, since my skin gets extremely dry. Unfortunately, that's not the case in the warmer seasons, It doesn't absorb well and my skin breaks out.

Good moisturiser
I have been using lala for more than 3 years now. I love it. I have used other creams in between as well but I always come back to it. I will stick to it always. The good point is that it never makes my skin break out or make my skin greasy at all. I dont know how bright or how much change it has done to my skin but I can clearly see and feel that it never harms my skin. My skin is hydrated. The cream is clean and is never exposed to air.

Holy grail
I have normal to dry skin & this moisturizer is absolutely perfect for me! I like it better than protini as it is oil based and quite a bit thicker :) it makes my skin feel super soft & hydrated, best moisturizer I’ve ever used.

Not as good as the protein moisturiser
I’ll start by saying this is actually a very good moisturiser and does what it needs to do (but thats it and for the price I want more than that). I’ve used the protein moisturiser from drunk elephant for a while and its an absolute holy grail, I wanted to change things up and try this and I wish I hadn’t wasted my money, and just stuck with the Protein version. I do think this is a good moisturiser but for the price its not worth it, ESPECIALLY when all their other products that I’ve tried have blown me away and have been amazing. This is just…meh

Amazing
I have dry sensitive skin that easily breaks out in hives. It is always difficult to find products that do not irritate it. This is amazing . I can use it worry free and my skin feeling great and getting “better” daily. Thanks so much DE and Cult . Must also thank Dominique Sasche for recommending via her social media. Love her and these products.
