Encouraging you to get up close and personal with your skin, Drunk Elephant dreams up formulas designed to be mixed and matched to create a smoothie to satisfy all your complexion's cravings. Blended with active ingredients, the brand's signature solutions look to protect your moisture barrier while balancing and maintaining pH levels. The Drunk Elephant Lala Retro Whipped Cream (50ml) is here to answer your skin's SOS call for quenched, nourished skin that looks its healthiest.
Your skin never knew hydration... until now. Taking ceramides and blending these with six African oils then whipping all this into a cream, the Drunk Elephant Lala Retro Whipped Cream (50ml) has the luxurious texture of a rich face cream without feeling suffocating or heavy.
Formulated with marula oil, which is high in antioxidants and omegas to give the skin a powerful dose of hydration, this must-have also stars mongongo to defend against environmental aggressors and baobab provides moisturising and soothing benefits. Elsewhere in the formula, kalahari melon is a super hydrating, rejuvenating oil, and ximenia is rich in vitamin C, making it fantastic at brightening the look of skin. Produced at an ideal pH level of 5.5, Lala Retro Whipped Cream prevents skin from looking dull or dry while delivering a steady dose of moisture during night and day.

Drunk elephant lala retro whipped cream
Love this addition to my Drunk Elephant collection. Fabulous range and when used in conjunction with the magic smoothie combinations the Lala cream moisturisers my aging skin with great success. Drunk Elephant products are the most under rated products out there. Worth every penny spent on the band and it’s taken many years and £££££s to find my go to beauty products to make me feel amazing

Packaging not good, cream OK
Quite a good cream, very soothing. Expensive though and didn't last long. Packaging is poor - you cannot see how much you have left and even when you are running out, you can't tell because the jar still feels heavy. I took it apart to see whether I could get any more out, but even after prising the top off and removing the big metal spring, still couldn't get into the jar. Has the company considered ease of recycling at all? Don't think I'll be buying again.

Good but expensive
Currently on medication and this is one of the few creams that’s moisturizering on my v dry skin without causing break outs. Pretty expensive - but it’s your face after all. It cosmetics confidence in a cream is a slightly cheaper alternative

Not really worth the hype
I’ve used this product for a few weeks now, I honestly think there are better and more efficient moisturisers out there for a cheaper price. The first hour my skin feels moisturised but then after a few hours, it almost feels like the cream goes away and the skin feels dry again. The only interesting thing is the pump that disperses the cream.

The best
This is my go-to moisturiser, it is really the best. I use all other skincare products from another brand, but this is really the best cream for me. It is a miracle!

The moisturiser next door
The perfect every day, it sinks into the skin beautifully, it's relatively scentless and it won't clog your pores or disrupt any makeup. For me, a moisturiser is used to treat your skin type and act as a seal the rest of your skincare and this does that. I will admit, as a dry girl this can sometimes be too much in summer, but in winter it's like a big drink of water on a hot summers day, say goodbye to dry patches and not feeling moisturised throughout the day. I cannot rave about this enough, a perfect moisturiser.

Great for my skin
Before this moisturizer I was using Neutrogena Hydro Boost, CeraVe and the Milk Make up one - this one is the best by far. It is a cream, but it goes really nicely into the skin and it does have an airy feel - compared to Milk and CeraVe who feel more thick and heavy. Compared to the Milk one it also doesn’t leave your face shiny, so when you apply sunscreen on top you don’t look sweaty. It is very moisturizing (I have dry cheeks and an oily forehead and I just put a bit less on my forehead). Taking a star off just because it is quite expensive compared to the ones I’ve used before and harder for me to get in my country, but it has a luxury feel to it and the packaging is also quite cute and sturdy. Will be repurchasing!
