Encouraging you to get up close and personal with your skin, Drunk Elephant dreams up formulas designed to be mixed and matched to create a smoothie to satisfy all your complexion's cravings. Blended with active ingredients, the brand's signature solutions look to protect your moisture barrier while balancing and maintaining pH levels. The Drunk Elephant Lala Retro Whipped Cream (50ml) is here to answer your skin's SOS call for quenched, nourished skin that looks its healthiest.
Your skin never knew hydration... until now. Taking ceramides and blending these with six African oils then whipping all this into a cream, the Drunk Elephant Lala Retro Whipped Cream (50ml) has the luxurious texture of a rich face cream without feeling suffocating or heavy.
Formulated with marula oil, which is high in antioxidants and omegas to give the skin a powerful dose of hydration, this must-have also stars mongongo to defend against environmental aggressors and baobab provides moisturising and soothing benefits. Elsewhere in the formula, kalahari melon is a super hydrating, rejuvenating oil, and ximenia is rich in vitamin C, making it fantastic at brightening the look of skin. Produced at an ideal pH level of 5.5, Lala Retro Whipped Cream prevents skin from looking dull or dry while delivering a steady dose of moisture during night and day.

Highly recommended
I am on immunotherapy treatment which is drying my skin out, particularly on my face. Lala Retro is fantastic and is a perfect combination with Drunk Elephant B Hydra intensive serum. It really has help my skin. I had never heard of Drunk Elephant until my son's partner on Instagram recommended it. I will be ordering more!

Simply precious
And this is how I fell in love with a moisturiser. Been through quite a few luxury brands face creams, none has made my skin this soft. Must be on my 4th jar and I am not changing! It’s a nourishing buttery cream that just feels velvety on my skin. No more dry skin. Amazing!

LOVE this!
My skin is combination/sensitive and I bought this as a PM moisturiser. I ended up using it as an AM moisturiser too as it made my skin so soft and hasn’t broken out my skin

Disappointing.
I’d been eyeing up DE products for a while, but put it off due to the expense, mainly. I decided to make my first purchase with this cream as most people said it was slightly thicker than the polypeptide moisturiser, and as someone with dry skin I’m looking for all the hydration I can get. I have to say I’m just overwhelmingly disappointed. It sunk into my skin quite quickly but didn’t leave me feeling plump and hydrated - particularly when I woke up I felt like I’d gone to sleep not applying anything as I felt tight and dry! This for me sadly just didn’t work as expected and I will not be repurchasing, particularly as it’s very expensive too. It’s nice to know you’re putting good ingredients on your skin, with no irritants etc but I think there are a lot of better options out there which would be a lot more nourishing.

Amazing-
This has been the first drunk elephant product I have used after watching it on a Vogue Makeup tutorial. It is a lovely deep moisturiser that really feels like it is nourishing your skin without clogging your pores. I was slightly skeptical after seeing the other reviews mentioning the smell- but I really can’t smell anything unpleasant about the product. The packaging is amazing and such a lovely product to use.

So soothing
I was a little bit skeptical with this moisturiser but with few days of applying my skin has never felt so hydrated and plump and the first application was so soothing to the skin definitely recommended.

Not worth the money
This moisturiser is nothing special. It’s a simple basic cream you could buy for a fifth of the price. Don’t let the idea of it not containing the “suspicious six” fool you into thinking that it won’t irritate the skin. I find this can burn my skin if I put it on straight after I wash it.I also don’t find any it to be very helpful for very dry eczema-prone skin like mine. It is very thick and feels very rich, but when I wake up in the morning my skin is as dry as if I hadn’t worn a moisturiser at all. I wouldn’t recommend at all, especially for the price.

Lala
I tried a sample of this and seemed ok so ordered some. It is now a daily staple. It’s a real comforting cream and my skin is definitely softer.

Not great
I have used this for a week or so now and it is not nice. It smells as if its off which is very of putting but it also does nothing for my skin. It seemed so light that after a few minutes my skin felt dry and tight. I have tried lots of different products but this is one I will not buy again.
