Blended with active ingredients, the brand's signature solutions look to protect your moisture barrier while balancing and maintaining pH levels. The Drunk Elephant Lala Retro Whipped Cream (50ml) is here to answer your skin's SOS call for quenched, nourished skin that looks its healthiest.
Your skin never knew hydration... until now. Taking ceramides and blending these with six African oils then whipping all this into a cream, the Drunk Elephant Lala Retro Whipped Cream (50ml) has the luxurious texture of a rich face cream without feeling suffocating or heavy.
Formulated with marula oil, which is high in antioxidants and omegas to give the skin a powerful dose of hydration, this must-have also stars mongongo to defend against environmental aggressors and baobab provides moisturising and soothing benefits. Elsewhere in the formula, kalahari melon is a super hydrating, rejuvenating oil, and ximenia is rich in vitamin C, making it fantastic at brightening the look of skin. Produced at an ideal pH level of 5.5, Lala Retro Whipped Cream prevents skin from looking dull or dry while delivering a steady dose of moisture during night and day.

Whip but not sticky or tacky. Absorb well.
I have oily combination skin. I was searching for something that give me enough hydration without too oily. I tried this and my skin immediately love it. It is whip/creamy texture but melt into my skin. I use it at night and I woke up with hydrated skin. Recommended this product.

I like it but I'm not sure if it's enough for my dry skin
I bought this a few weeks ago and so far so good. My skin is very dry and I usually prefer a night cream that is more moisturizing than this, but combined with the TLC serum and the Maruja oil my face seems to really like it. I am enjoying that combo and I would buy it again. I will give it a try as a day cream as well to see the difference.

Best Moisturiser I have used
I have tried out many moisturisers as I have combination dry and oily skin, with most moisturisers helping the dry patches but just increasing the oil on my face. I haven’t found that with this moisturiser. It works perfectly. I wear it under my makeup and apply twice a day, in the morning and before bed. It has worked wonders with my skin, I have had no breakouts since using the product and my skin appears more even and bright. It sits well under makeup as it allows primer to sit on top which other moisturisers sometimes don’t. The packaging is great as it dispenses the perfect amount of product. Will definitely be purchasing again when this runs out.

Love this
Been using this for a few months now and it’s done wonders for my skin. Such a nice smooth cream. Love the packaging design although sometimes I feel it gives out a little too much product.

The best moisturiser!
I have had a big problem with all moisturisers that have perfume in them, also a lot of them didn't sink into the skin, but just sat on it. I did not enjoy that feeling. This one just smells natural and really moisturises the skin, it has done wonders to my skin care routine. I just love it so much!

Contains so little...
I like what the product itself does for my skin, it definitely very moisturising and you don't need much for it to cover your face. But it contains so little product, it's insane, I doubt that it's 50 ml after comparing it to other 50ml creams. The cream isn’t stored in the pot you see, but a pot inside. This pot is smaller than the outer pot but still big. A few days ago I noticed that the cream is stored at the top of the pot, and approximately one-fifth of the pot has cream in it. So much packaging and plastic, so little product, such a high price point. Not sure if I will repurchase.

Favourite non-greasy moisturizer
I have acne-prone and dehydrated skin. Therefore I really hate moisturizers that are greasy and shiny. After applying Lala retro, my skin feels soft and semi-matte. It's my holy grail moisturizer.

good apart from packaging
The cream doesn't do any miracles, still, it feels good. I wouldn't buy it anymore, though, partly because I think it is overpriced but mostly because of the packaging. This product is more plastic than cream, and a good part of the cream is lost in the depth of this plastic safe. You can dismember it to a certain degree - but the amount of plastic garbage at the end is ridiculous.

New holy grail moisturiser
I can't explain how much I love this product. I have very oily acne prone skin that is also a bit sensitive. I have used so many moisturisers over the years and have always had some issue with it - Too oily or too heavy or made me breakout... Then I found this and it's incredible. I only use it at night because it's a bit heavy for me during the day but I wake up with really soft skin and no irritation whatsoever. I love the packaging as well - avoids extra bacteria getting into the product which is always something I try to be careful of so I don't break out. Their products are unscented so I find it a bit odd - it has a slight whiff of white bread or something but it's something I can easily get past and only lasts while you're applying it. It's a good thing that it is unscented though because it means no unnecessary irritants A++++ (I also have it in the smaller size so I'm never without while travelling)

Matte, but nourished skin.
I like weird synthetical smells and I like the weird pump. A nice nourishing cream that leaves a semi-matte finish.
