Encouraging you to get up close and personal with your skin, Drunk Elephant dreams up formulas designed to be mixed and matched to create a smoothie to satisfy all your complexion's cravings. Blended with active ingredients, the brand's signature solutions look to protect your moisture barrier while balancing and maintaining pH levels. The Drunk Elephant Lala Retro Whipped Cream (50ml) is here to answer your skin's SOS call for quenched, nourished skin that looks its healthiest.
Your skin never knew hydration... until now. Taking ceramides and blending these with six African oils then whipping all this into a cream, the Drunk Elephant Lala Retro Whipped Cream (50ml) has the luxurious texture of a rich face cream without feeling suffocating or heavy.
Formulated with marula oil, which is high in antioxidants and omegas to give the skin a powerful dose of hydration, this must-have also stars mongongo to defend against environmental aggressors and baobab provides moisturising and soothing benefits. Elsewhere in the formula, kalahari melon is a super hydrating, rejuvenating oil, and ximenia is rich in vitamin C, making it fantastic at brightening the look of skin. Produced at an ideal pH level of 5.5, Lala Retro Whipped Cream prevents skin from looking dull or dry while delivering a steady dose of moisture during night and day.

Silky Smooth!
Really lovely creamy & rich feel to the moisturiser. It’s great on my sensitive skin as I suffer with eczema and this didn’t irritate it at all. Love the packaging also!

Skinsaver
I’ve always had dry skin and this product has done miracles for me. It’s the only product in my routine that I’ve changed and now my skin stays hydrated and supple all day, there’s no irritation whatsoever and over the course of 2 weeks it even made clogged pores vanish.

Bad product and high price
I have very dry skin, and after applying my skin is still dry as before. It is definitely not worth the hype. This is not better than Nivea or Garnier night cream, maybe even worse. If the price was 10 gbp, than it would be fine (not great, just naah fine) but price was 60 gbp (now is 50 gbp) this is definitely the worst cream I had when you compare value for money. Only good thing is packaging.

Not what I expected
I had such high expectations of this cream, given the price tag and the other reviews but this just did not work for me. I didn't like the smell at all, and it made my skin feel very dry, not moisturising for my dry and sensitive skin

...
I really don't understand the Drunk Elephant hype...It feels heavy at first then it absorbs and it feels dry and it smells like play dough. I would not pay even 20 euro for this ...extremely disappointing will never again buy Drunk Elephant.

Feels like a cloud on your skin
Love love love this! I have dry skin and I enjoy this for no makeup days as it doesn't leave skin shiny. Will repurchase, highly recommend it for dry skin

Perfect for my dry skin
I have a normal to dry skin, and especially in this time of year I need extra moisture. I have used it about a week, and I am ADDICTED. It is definitely worth the hype. I am using it every night, and every morning and my skin is moisturised and may I say more brightened.

Amazing
Sunday night is LALA Retro. Half a pump, combined with 6 drops of Marula Oil and Baby Facial, 30 minutes - wash. Zero irritation and the softest skin ever. Then 6 drops of Marula Oil alone and its sleepy time!

Dry sensitive skin heaven
Definitely worth it. Great texture, and like most of DE products, it doesn’t have a scent which is lovely to be as gentle as possible on your skin. I like to combine it with DE Vitamin C serum in the morning - the perfect boost for your skin!

My dehydrated skin thanked me!
My skin has been struggling with the weird weather recently - air con to heating and back to air con again, and as a result my face feels dry, tight and generally unhappy. I'm always wary of trying new products as I have super sensitive skin, but I tried the Lala cream last night (over the Drunk Elephant Hydration Serum) and could almost feel the sigh of relief from my skin! My face felt beautifully soft and really hydrated; the product sunk straight into my skin, but left a lovely glow behind - a far cry from the dull, uninspired autumn skin I'd started with! Highly recommended, especially for winter.
