Not for me...

This is the only DE product I cannot recommend and I feel awful for typing that! I love, love, love DE I pretty much use all of their other products but Lippe made absolutely no difference to my chapped lips. I used it constantly and even repurchased to make sure I gave it a decent try. It smells & tastes nice and I like the packaging but other than that it was pretty much useless :(

Lip balm which makes a difference

4 stars out of a maximum of 5

Since using this lip balm I can tell the difference. It keeps my lips looking hydrated and is also great for applying before lip stick.

Excellent Lip Balm!

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

I have sensitive, problematic skin - especially around my lip area; it gets red and irritated very easily, and this balm has helped it calm down. Some days I don't even have to use it for my lips to be okay! I love it, recently ordered my 3rd stick.

Leaves my lips chapped and in need of a proper lip balm

1 stars out of a maximum of 5

I wanted to love this so much, however I was greatly disappointed. Firstly, it's an odd shape for a lip balm due to the large surface area which I can see will eventually go to waste as the product gets used. Secondly my lips needed constant re-applying as they were left more dry and sore. Nothing special at all and it’s a mistake spending £15 on it! Been using the Laneige sleeping lip mask - much more hydrating and plumping.

Hydrating, smells good & great value for money.

I always seem to have dry lips and as a result I've tried a lot of lip balms over the years. Some more expensive than this one and also more difficult to use - like in tins for instance. This one is really hydrating - I find that I need to apply this less often compared to other balms that I've tried. Also it smells lovely. The tube is a bit wider than normal but if you tilt your lips when applying slightly, then it works out fine. I carry it with me all the time now.

Perfect for sensitive lips

My skin can't handle fragrance our essential oils like lavender, most 'natural' lipbalms contain fragrance in form of essential oils like lavender. And I also don't like petroleum based lip balms, hence this lip balm is a godsend.

Too wide, hard to apply, why not stay into the regular lip balm shape? But the balm is good, I use before apply lip stick.

Idk why, but it gives me chapped lips all the time I'm using it.

Lips peel off every time!

2 stars out of a maximum of 5

Unfortunately, Lippe is not right for me! I want to love it, but every single time it makes my lips peeling off badly! It's crazy...I have very, very dry lips, always peeling off and I need emollient ingredients to make them feel soft and nice. My loved ones will continue to be Laneige Sleeping Mask and also Ineesfree Honey Lip Mask.

Expensive

I basically love it, but if you use it for a month straight you will be done. Amount of product is ridiculous.
