Everybody in the Cult’s getting tipsy! Serious skin, hair and body care heroes that don’t take themselves super seriously, Drunk Elephant’s rise to the top of the industry pops has been (rightfully!) meteoric. Founded by Tiffany Masterson who wanted to formulate products without any ‘fillers’, this all-star collection is powered by biocompatible actives – a mix of synthetic and plant-derived extracts – that skin recognises and knows what to do with. And, because of their ingredient-elimination philosophy, you won’t find any of the following ‘Suspicious 6’ – drying alcohols, silicones, SLS, chemical screens, essential oils or fragrances/dyes – so you can ‘reset’ your complexion and help both your skin and your tresses to flourish like never before.

Containing potent doses of black tea ferment and copper peptides, Drunk Elephant’s Shaba Complex Eye Serum tackles fine lines, wrinkles and sun damage with ease (and can also be used as a lash and brow growth serum too!).
Starring black tea to smooth your skin's texture, improve radiance and decrease glycation (a process that ages the appearance of skin) and copper peptides to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and promotes a more elastic feel to skin, Drunk Elephant’s Shaba Complex Eye Serum helps to slow down the signs of ageing before they appear. Combined with niacinamide and the powerful antioxidants in Co-Q10 protects against environmental aggressors while also fading age spots. Gentle enough to use across the orbital bone, eyelid and as a lash and brow serum, the Shaba Complex is a real all-rounder. The airtight (and cute!) container also helps the formula to stay super-fresh.

Smoothing
Serum is easily absorbed, very light texture. Smoothed my crows feet slightly. The light texture is good for summer, but I have stopped using it now the weather is colder and moved to a more moisturising cream.

Disappointing
I have not seen results and is not as hydrating as advertised. At the pricepoint, one would expect it to at least provide a boost of hydration. Very disappointed.

It’s ok
I’ve been using this for over a year now, I’m on my second purchase - considering how expensive it is, it’s not worth the hefty price. I’ve not noticed any big difference for as long as I’ve been using it, but it is quite hydrating and you only need the tiniest bit and doesn’t irritate my eyes which are very sensitive. I hadn’t yet used an eye cream/serum which doesn’t sting my eyes until I tried this one hence why I repurchased it. Overall it’s a good product to keep your eyes moisturised but quite pricy

no results
It didn't improve my skin at all, patches under makeup.

Not worth the money
I don't hate it as it is very inoffensive but I haven't seen any visible changes so far (after about a month of use).

Drunk Elephant Shaba Complex Eye Serum
The product is lovely, applies smoothly and is very good value for money as it lasts a long time. The only thing I would say, is if you are using it as a 40+ year old, I would not say the effects are very noticeable.

Ok
So I use a small amount and this takes a while to absorb and has to be done in front of a mirror otherwise you might have white patches. However, it is moisturising which is the main reason that I use an eye cream/serum. 4/5 due to the faff of applying.

No results
Saw no visible results. Also the product kind of started pilling which is strange because it doesn't have any silicones... In comparison is the C- tango multivitamin eye cream better than this one.

Super Serum
This product is usually looked over when it comes to Drunk Elephant's exquisite line of products (dunno why) but it is perfect, it really helps smoothing your skin and keeps it hydrated, I see the difference especially when I am under heated spaces or low humidity days.Perfect

firming & hydrating
I love this serum. The only eye cream I've tried before was Sunday Riley's Start Over, which stung so much every time I tried to use it and made my eyes water. The Shaba Complex smells lovely, absorbs quickly and I can feel a tightening effect around my under eye area after application. It feels very hydrating, though I haven't been using it long enough to note any visible reduction in the appearance of wrinkles. I apply this eye cream to my eyebrows and eyelids too - apparently it promotes eyebrow hair growth!
