Blended with active ingredients, the brand's signature solutions look to protect your moisture barrier while balancing and maintaining pH levels. Enter the Drunk Elephant Slaai Makeup-Melting Butter Cleanser and the Bamboo Booster, a dynamic duo that effectively removes makeup and gently exfoliates the skin.
A must-try for any Drunk Elephant devotee, the Slaai Makeup-Melting Butter Cleanser unites a clever oil to milk cleanser that effectively melts away all traces of dirt, debris, make up and sunscreen... even water-resistant formulations. Its reliable sidekick, the Bamboo Booster is a soft and powerful exfoliant that effortlessly refines the look of the skin.
The Slaai Makeup-Melting Butter Cleanser is infused with antioxidant rich fruit extracts and oils to help soothe skin, whilst an African oil blend of marula, baobab, Kalahari melon, mongongo and ximenia intensely moisturises and restores the look of your skin's elasticity and luminosity. Use the accompanying Bamboo Booster (a physical exfoliant, formed from ultra-fine bamboo and charcoal spheres), once or twice a week to gently slough away dead skin cells to help reveal a dewy complexion.

Godsend
I am maniac when it comes to this product. I have always on open and brand new hidden away because I have a fear of running out of it. It is so gentle, relaxing and so luxurious that makes my night routine changing into spa treatment. Whether using make up or not, sunscreen or just daily cleanse, it melts away dirt, make up, any daily residue and with warm face cloth it’s giving me clean and comfortable skin, feeling hydrated and not feeling tight afterwards.

Melts away makeup
This cleanser is easily as good as other more popular cleansing balms, and only needs a small amount to melt down all makeup on the face. The tub is a good size and the product has a subtle scent

staple cleansing balm
I love a cleansing balm and this one is my favourite. It doesn't have a fragrance which is great, does not sting my eyes, can actually open them while cleansing and it takes off make up and spf so well! I have purchased this numerous times and will continue to do so!

Amazing for dry sensitive skin
This is worth the money, especially as it doubles up as an exfoliator when you add the bamboo booster! I have very dry skin which gets easily aggravated and this cleanser always calms it down.

The best around!!
The absolute best for getting all and any makeup off. I hate putting a lot on my skin, but this product feels incredible and it’s so easy to use. A little goes a long way, meaning it’s worth every penny it costs. Leaves your face feeling clean

Love it!
Really love this product as a first cleanse. It melts make up off and you only need a little bit so the massive tub lasts ages. Defo recommend

Love the cleanser but packaging change is a pain
This is my 3rd pot of this but not purchased for a little while - went off brand - back bc nothing else takes makeup off as effectively and as gently. It’s still a great product I’m pleased to say and removes even the gothiest eye makeup with no stings or scrubbing. But since I last purchased they’ve changed the packaging and now the little spoon is stored on top of the lid with a snap fastening whereas previously it was magnetised - and I used to keep it inside the pot so I could stack an other jar on it in my bathroom cabinet. Now the spoon doesn’t fit inside the pot. Looks like they’ve made the pot smaller. It’s a small point but really annoying esp for the price point
